Marvel’s Wolverine: Every Confirmed Suit So Far

Marvel’s Wolverine is finally approaching its September 15, 2026 release, and Insomniac is bringing quite a broad wardrobe for Logan along with it. From classic comic designs to movie callbacks and some wonderfully strange choices, there is plenty here beyond the Battle Reborn suit shown throughout the marketing.

Some of these looks have already appeared in trailers, while others were confirmed through early hands-on previews and creator footage. With that in mind, here are all 20 confirmed Wolverine suits, plus two “bonus” appearances that are worth keeping an eye on.

1 Battle Reborn

Battle Reborn is Insomniac’s original take on Wolverine, combining the familiar blue and yellow palette with a more grounded design suited to the game’s harsher visual style. It is the suit that most clearly defines this version of Logan, and Insomniac has already carried the design into MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls (via X).

2 Classic Brown Suit

The classic brown and tan suit has been part of Wolverine’s comic wardrobe since the late 1970s, and it remains one of Logan’s most recognizable looks. The brown body, yellow accents, and pointed mask are all here, making this a pretty hard suit for longtime fans to pass up. While it is not a pre-order “exclusive” bonus per se, pre-ordering Marvel’s Wolverine does give you early access to the suit.

3 White Tank Top

Sometimes Wolverine does not need a costume at all. The White Tank Top outfit gives Logan his familiar sideburns, jeans, and bare arms, letting the character’s unmistakable silhouette do most of the work. It also fits the more grounded version of Logan we have seen throughout the game’s trailers.

4 Flannel and Stetson

The Flannel and Stetson outfit pairs a red plaid shirt and jeans with a cowboy hat, leaning hard into Logan’s rugged outdoorsman side. It feels particularly appropriate for the Canadian wilderness sections, while also fitting a version of Wolverine who has spent years trying to live something resembling a normal life.

5 Leather Jacket

The Leather Jacket outfit keeps things simple with a black jacket and jeans, giving Logan another civilian look. It suits the game’s grounded approach and should work particularly well during the quieter parts of Logan’s journey, when he is just as likely to look like a wandering troublemaker as an X-Man.

6 Winter Coat

The Winter Coat outfit gives Logan a heavy, fur-lined coat over his everyday clothes. It also fits the snowy Canadian environments shown throughout the game better than most traditional costumes could. Wolverine has survived worse weather, but at least Insomniac lets him dress for it.

7 Team X Tactical Suit

The Team X Tactical suit ties directly into the game’s story, with Logan rejoining the mutant task force after years away. Its heavier military gear and armor give him a considerably more combat-focused silhouette than his civilian outfits, while fitting the version of Team X that Insomniac has built specifically for this story.

8 Classic Blue and Yellow Suit

The classic blue and yellow costume needs little introduction. This is Wolverine’s traditional superhero look, complete with the pointed mask and unmistakable X-Men styling. Seeing it alongside Battle Reborn should make for an interesting comparison.

9 Fang Wolverine

Fang is one of the stranger stops on Wolverine’s costume tour. In the comics, Logan briefly took the identity and costume of Fang, a member of the Shi’ar Imperial Guard, after defeating him. The resulting orange and black outfit, complete with its distinctive fur trim, looks nothing like Logan’s usual uniforms, which is precisely why it has left a mark ever since.

10 Weapon X

Weapon X is one of the most important visual callbacks in Wolverine’s history. The costume draws from Logan’s time undergoing the experiments that bonded adamantium to his skeleton, with the mechanical restraints, helmet, and equipment giving him a much more unsettling appearance. It is difficult to discuss Wolverine’s origin without eventually arriving here.

11 Ultimate Wolverine

Ultimate Wolverine draws from the version of Logan in Marvel’s current Ultimate Universe. In this reality, Logan has been turned into the Winter Soldier, a weapon controlled by the Maker’s Council and deployed by Magik, Colossus, and Omega Red. The result is one of the most radically reworked versions of Wolverine in recent years.

12 Patch Wolverine

Patch is arguably the most ridiculous Wolverine alias in the best possible way. During his time in Madripoor, Logan adopted the identity and turned up in a white tuxedo, black bow tie, and eyepatch. The costume is an especially fun inclusion here because Madripoor plays a major role in Marvel’s Wolverine.

13 Days of Future Past

This suit draws from Wolverine’s original look in Days of Future Past, giving Logan the rugged brown fur-trimmed jacket, black shirt, and blue pants seen in the dystopian future timeline. It is a far more understated look than his usual superhero costumes, but that is exactly what makes it so memorable.

14 Deadpool & Wolverine Suit

Hugh Jackman’s Deadpool & Wolverine suit finally gave the actor’s Wolverine a costume that looked like it had walked straight out of a comic book. Insomniac’s version brings that yellow and blue movie design into the game, giving fans a chance to put Logan in one of the most recognizable modern Wolverine costumes yet.

15 Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls Suit

This might be the most unexpected crossover in the wardrobe. The suit comes directly from MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls, where Arc System Works gives Wolverine a stylized redesign with a distinctly anime-influenced look. Insomniac’s game gets the costume at launch, making this a rather fun two-way Marvel game collaboration.

16 New Leather Wolverine (Deluxe Edition)

New Leather is a direct pull from Grant Morrison and Frank Quitely’s New X-Men era, where Wolverine traded his familiar superhero costume for black leather. The look came alongside the rest of the X-Men’s move away from traditional spandex, with Logan sporting the leather jacket, yellow accents, dog tags, and, quite often, nothing underneath.

17 Night Hunt Wolverine (Deluxe Edition)

Night Hunt is one of two original Wolverine designs created specifically for Marvel’s Wolverine in collaboration with Marvel artists. Iban Coello, who also worked on the game’s official prequel comic, designed the suit, giving Logan a darker blue, black, and gray look that feels appropriately suited to its name.

18 Savage Wolverine (Deluxe Edition)

Savage Wolverine leans into the animalistic side of Logan with a rougher, more aggressive design with glowing red eyes. It is an original suit created for the game, with artwork credited to Wolverine artist Adam Kubert. Among the Deluxe costumes, this is probably the one that best matches the character’s feral reputation without simply putting him back in a familiar comic uniform.

19 Incredible Wolverine (Deluxe Edition)

Incredible Wolverine reaches all the way back to Logan’s earliest days, taking inspiration from his very first appearance in The Incredible Hulk #180. The yellow and blue design gives players a chance to see a version of Wolverine that predates most of the costumes that made him famous, making it a particularly neat historical addition.

20 Age of Apocalypse (Deluxe Edition)

Age of Apocalypse comes from Marvel’s alternate reality where Apocalypse conquered North America and the X-Men fought to survive under very different circumstances. Its darker, battle-hardened appearance fits that world, while Insomniac’s adaptation gives Logan another costume that looks considerably more severe than his standard heroic attire.

All Possible Wolverine Suits in Marvel’s Wolverine

Two other appearances deserve a mention, although they should not yet be counted alongside the 20 confirmed suits. Both have appeared in game footage, but it is unclear whether the game is going to treat them as standalone unlockable costumes or simply alternate story appearances.

1. Shirtless Wolverine

The shirtless appearance is about as simple as a Wolverine costume can get. Logan is left with his trademark 5’3″ physique, hair, and sideburns, and the look has appeared during story footage. It makes sense as an alternate appearance given how often Wolverine’s clothes have a tendency to become collateral damage.

2. Battle-Damaged Suit

The battle-damaged version of the Battle Reborn Suit appears to be a worn and bloodied version of one of Logan’s combat outfits, complete with the kind of visual punishment you would expect from a game built around Wolverine’s regenerative abilities.
