The Helldivers 2 Ironclad Democracy Warbond is almost ready for deployment, bringing another batch of heavily armed solutions to whatever the bots, bugs, and squids throw at Super Earth’s finest. The Premium Warbond arrives Tuesday, September 22, with plenty of explosive hardware in tow.
Arrowhead has confirmed the date but has not announced an exact launch hour yet. Still, with the most recent Warbond giving us a useful reference point, here’s everything you need to know about when Ironclad Democracy should go live in your region.

What Ironclad Democracy Brings to Helldivers 2
Because the answer is, and always has been, more firepower. | Credit: Arrowhead Game Studios/PlayStationFor the full breakdown of everything arriving with Ironclad Democracy, check out our dedicated guide here; there is plenty worth knowing before spending those 1,000 Super Credits. The Warbond leans heavily into anti-armor tools, explosives, fire, and the general philosophy of solving problems with increasingly unreasonable amounts of force.

Here’s a quick overview of every new gameplay item and major cosmetic reward included:
| Item | Type | What It Does |
| BFM-16 Tanker | Light Armor | Blunt-Force Mitigation passive |
| BFM-220 Ironclad | Heavy Armor | Blunt-Force Mitigation passive |
| AR-11 Arbitrator | Primary Weapon | Assault rifle with an underslung shotgun |
| GL-15 Evictor | Primary Weapon | Pump-action grenade launcher with manual reload |
| P-34 Breacher | Secondary Weapon | Sticky phosphorus-fueled missile pistol |
| G-60 Anti-Tank Seeker | Throwable | Homing anti-tank grenade drone |
| G-8 Immolation | Throwable | Incendiary area-denial grenade (think Molotov Cocktail) |
| Integrated Extinguishers | Booster | Reduces time needed to extinguish flames |
| Surplus EAT Allocation | Booster | Provides two EAT-17 stratagem uses per mission |
| Bastion Tank Exclusive Patterns | Cosmetic | Verdant, Glacial Polymer, Executive Onyx |
The real mechanical newcomer is the Blunt-Force Mitigation passive, which reduces impact and collision damage by 30% while making Helldivers harder to knock down. Add a homing anti-tank throwable and a missile pistol, and High Command clearly wants this Warbond fighting at close range with something large and unpleasant.
The wait is almost over, and Tuesday should give Helldivers 2 players another excuse to spend several hours testing whether the latest Ministry-approved toys are actually worth the medals. Which Ironclad Democracy item are you most interested in trying first? Let us know down in the comments below!
