Alongside Glen Powell’s Charlie, she forms a plan to set up their bosses so they can loosen up on them. However, as they worked together, they grew closer and eventually fell in love.

Set It Up received generally positive reviews and currently holds 92% Tomatometer and 69% Popcornmeter score on Rotten Tomatoes (as of April 5, 2026). 3 Everybody Wants Some!! (2016)

It follows a group of college baseball players in Texas as they navigate the transition from high school stardom to college life. Deutch plays Beverly, a performing arts major. Before they teamed up in Set It Up, Zoey Deutch and Glen Powell actually appeared together in Everybody Wants Some!!, even though they didn’t share many scenes. 4 The Politician (2019–2020)

The Politician is a Netflix series created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, and Ian Brennan. The political comedy-drama follows Payton Hobart (Ben Platt), a wealthy Santa Barbaran determined to become US President. Payton navigates various political races in each season. Deutch stars as Infinity Jackson, a gullible teenager with a chronic illness used as a pawn by her grandmother and Payton.

Deutsch portrayed a pivotal character whose story highlights the themes of exploitation and political machinations in the series. The series also features Gwyneth Paltrow, Lucy Boynton, and Jessica Lange among its ensemble. The first season premiered on September 27, 2019, and the second on June 19, 2020; however, there is no news of the development of the third season. While the series earned mixed to positive reviews, the soapy satire was enough to satisfy the Ryan Murphy fans.

5 Vampire Academy (2014)

Based on Richelle Mead’s novel, Vampire Academy features Deutch in one of her earliest leading roles as Rose Hathaway. She portrays a dhampir, training to protect her best friend, Lissa, a Moroi vampire princess, from evil Strigoi vampires at a hidden boarding school. Directed by Mark Waters, the movie is a mix of Mean Girls-style comedy with vampire fantasy.

Although the movie did not perform well at the box office, it gained a cult following among fans of the book series. If you’re a fan of vampire movies, and let’s be honest, there are plenty out there, you should definitely give this one a shot.
