If you’re trying to finish a Battle Pass page, save up extra Chrono Tokens, or simply avoid last-minute grinding for some extra free Units in Marvel Rivals, keeping track of Chrono-Rush is worth your time. The recurring event is easily one of the best progression boosts in the game, especially for players who regularly stack matches over the weekend.
NetEase has now laid out the next batch of Chrono-Rush windows running through June. Here’s the full schedule, along with a few things worth knowing before you start farming.
Full Marvel Rivals Chrono-Rush Schedule (May–June 2026)
Credits: NetEase Games/FandomWireThe latest Chrono-Rush rotation is part of a larger “Weekend Surge” schedule, with the event returning every weekend from late May through June. Rather than one long uninterrupted run near the end of the season, Marvel Rivals players will get four separate windows to jump in and start earning unlimited Chrono Tokens:
| Weekend Surge #1 | May 29, 2026 (8 AM ET / 5 AM PT) | June 1, 2026 (8 AM ET / 5 AM PT) |
| Weekend Surge #2 | June 5, 2026 (8 AM ET / 5 AM PT) | June 8, 2026 (8 AM ET / 5 AM PT) |
| Weekend Surge #3 | June 12, 2026 (8 AM ET / 5 AM PT) | June 15, 2026 (8 AM ET / 5 AM PT) |
| Weekend Surge #4 | June 19, 2026 (8 AM ET / 5 AM PT) | June 22, 2026 (8 AM ET / 5 AM PT) |
Unlike many limited-time progression events, Chrono-Rush does not impose a hard cap on how many rewards you can earn during an active window. As long as the event is live, you can keep filling the XP bar and claiming additional Chrono Tokens.
STOP SCROLLING. The TVA's clock just hit maximum overdrive. ⚡️
The Chrono-Rush is back, and we've ripped the limiter off. No caps. No limits. Just pure, unadulterated grinding. From late May through June, every match you win is a direct path to total dominance.

How Chrono-Rush Works and How to Get More Chrono Tokens
Credits: NetEase Games/FandomWireOnce a Chrono-Rush event goes live, the game does a decent job of pointing you toward it. The event banner appears on the right-hand side of the Play menu underneath your regular missions, while a separate entry also shows up in the Events tab.
Clicking into the event banner reveals a dedicated XP bar that tracks your progress toward the next Chrono Token reward. Here’s what you should know before you start grinding:
- You can play any mode you want. Quick Match, Competitive, Arcade, Practice VS. AI, and most other matchmade playlists all contribute toward Chrono-Rush progress. There is no “best” mode from the event’s perspective, so simply play whatever you enjoy most.
- Every 2,000 XP earns you 100 Chrono Tokens. Once you hit that threshold, the XP bar automatically resets and immediately starts tracking progress toward the next reward. There is no cap on how many times this can happen during an active Chrono-Rush event.
- You don’t need to claim rewards after every reset. Chrono Tokens continue accumulating in the background as you play. Whether you prefer checking in after every few matches or claiming everything at the end of the weekend is entirely up to you.
- Luxury Battle Pass owners earn even more. The 20% Chrono Token bonus included with the upgraded Battle Pass applies here too, increasing each 100-token payout to 120 instead. Over the course of a full Weekend Surge, that difference can add up surprisingly quickly.
- Don’t leave rewards sitting unclaimed. While Chrono Tokens can accumulate throughout an active event, Event XP itself does not carry over into the next Chrono-Rush. Before the timer expires, make sure to open the event page and collect everything you’ve earned.
One of the best things about Chrono-Rush is that it doesn’t ask you to go out of your way. There are no special challenges to complete, no particular heroes to play, and no unusual objectives to chase. If you were already planning on spending a weekend playing Marvel Rivals, you might as well leave with a few extra Chrono Tokens in your pocket.
