In the Marriagetoxin universe, Specialists (or Masters) are assassins who have mastered a very specific, unorthodox method of killing, using certain elements. These assassins belong to underground families that pass down deadly techniques by modifying the bloodline slowly. So, the longer the bloodline, the stronger the specialist is.
However, it also depends on the purity of the bloodline and mastery of the techniques. Let’s rank all the specialists that we have seen in the anime so far based on how lethal they are. We will explore their achievements in the anime.
6 Kimie Arashiyama, the Hamster User
Kimie Arashiyama from Marriagetoxin | Credit: Bones FilmKimie, who was just introduced in the anime, is among the weakest. She uses specially trained hamsters. Her hamsters can gather information for her, transport small things, or simply send messages. However, they cannot fight at all. In the anime, she used these hamsters to spy on Hikaru Gero. As she is the weakest without any combat power, she ranks at the bottom of this ranking.
5 Toshiki Hanamaki, the Bug User
Toshiki Hanamaki from Marriagetoxin | Credit: Bones FilmToshiki can control different kinds of bugs to track and swarm his targets. His insects can follow enemies over long distances, swarm their faces to block their vision, and hit them with venomous bites or stings. He can also fly with his very own butterfly wings.
While we have never seen him fight any other specialist in the anime, we did see him easily beating a cyborg. Furthermore, considering how scared he was when he first met Hikaru Gero as a child, he must not be strong.
4 Hayato Tsunagi, the Needle User
Hayato Tsunagi from Marriagetoxin | Credit: Bones FilmHayato is the needle specialist and belongs to a branch family of the poison masters. He targets specific nerve clusters to quickly paralyze people, block his own pain receptors, or deal instant, lethal damage. Unlike animal or bug users, he can actually fight really well on his own and kill directly.
He sits at the fourth rank because he is in a close range and cannot fight from afar. Furthermore, being a branch family simply means that his bloodline isn’t strong enough like the pure poison masters.
3 Shizuku Ushio, the Water User
Shizuku from Marriagetoxin | Credit: Bones FilmShizuku controls water to aggressively attack and defend; she is also the first antagonist in the anime. She can control water as she pleases, shoot it like a jet, or simply turn it into a big shield. When compared to all the specialists talked about till now, she is a massive step up. The reason she is not higher is that she needs to be close to water to actually use her abilities.
2 Genya Naruko, the Sound User
Genya from Marriagetoxin | Credit: Bones FilmGenya is the sound user. Genya can bring earthquakes, shatter buildings, create big sound monsters, and even hypnotize a crowd of people without effort.
In the anime, he destroyed a college building without moving his body an inch, which makes him really effective in long range as well. Technically, he could even be considered stronger than Hikaru Gero for the amount of destruction he can cause. However, he was outsmarted by him.

If there is something that can be done by poison, Hikaru can do it. Hikaru often injects himself with a specialized poison that turns him into a superhuman, giving him super speed, strength, and senses. Furthermore, unless he is dead, he can heal himself from most injuries. His is the purest bloodline shown in the anime.
It is not just the poison that he has mastered, as he can fight with his own fists. When fighting, it only takes a single needle for him to end any fight.
