When and Where Will Evil Dead Burn Release on Streaming?

Evil Dead Burn is set to hit theaters on July 10, 2026, and fans already want to know when the movie will arrive on streaming. From the reviews, it seems that the movie deserves viewers’ attention on the big screen. In our review of Evil Dead Burn, Sean Boelman of FW gave it 9 out of 10, sharing that the movie “boasts both some of the most disturbing and some of the most beautiful horror imagery you will see in the genre this year.”

However, if you prefer the streaming experience, you will have to wait a little longer for any updates on its PVOD and streaming release dates. The new movie is the sixth installment in Sam Raimi’s Evil Dead film series and promises to be the scariest of the three modern-era titles. Sébastien Vaniček, who helmed the critically acclaimed French horror movie Vermines (Infested), is directing the new installment.

Souheila Yacoub leads the cast, with supporting performances from Hunter Doohan, Luciane Buchanan, Tandi Wright, and George Pullar. According to the synopsis, the movie follows a widow, Alice, played by Yacoub, seeking solace with her in-laws when the Deadites unleash carnage on this family. The movie promises demonic mayhem in its pre-release trailers.

Evil Dead Burn Expected Streaming Release Date

As of writing, Evil Dead Burn is not available to stream on any subscription platform, nor has Warner Bros. confirmed a digital release date. The film was exclusively released in theaters in the U.S. on July 10, 2026. But films usually take around 45 to 90 days after their theatrical debut before getting a digital release. It should be noted that Warner Bros. typically adheres to a theatrical-to-streaming window of 60 to 90 days for its major releases.

If the movie performs well at the box office, it may stay even longer in theaters, like Curry Barker’s horror movie, Obsession. However, the opposite is also true. When it underperforms, the digital release window is often moved up. The positive reviews for Evil Dead Burn suggest the possibility that it might get through WB’s usual theatrical window.

The movie will likely be released digitally by late August or early September, and on subscription-based streaming a month or two later, in September or October. This expected window will be pushed further if the movie has a prolonged successful theatrical run.

Evil Dead Burn will first be made available via premium video-on-demand (PVOD), during which you can buy or rent the movie on platforms like Apple TV or Prime Video. After a brief time on this PVOD window, Evil Dead Burn will arrive on a streaming platform, where subscribers can access the movie.

The movie is produced by Warner Bros. Discovery’s subsidiary New Line Cinema and Sony’s subsidiary Screen Gems. WB Pictures handles its U.S. distribution while Sony Pictures Releasing handles the international distribution. Since it’s distributed by Warner Bros. in the U.S., it will likely stream on HBO Max once the theatrical window closes.

The rest of the Evil Dead movies are already available on the platform, including 2023’s Evil Dead Rise, which further makes it the most plausible destination. In the UK, the movie is expected to hit the niche streaming platform Studio Canal Presents, which is available as an add-on on Prime Video.
