Although notable insider Jeff Sneider had alleged (via X) that Sabrina Carpenter was the perfect casting for Dazzler’s role, her new 2026 look just solidified that claim. It had been a well-known rumor that the singer had allegedly met with Marvel Studios to discuss an undisclosed role. However, all eyes are going towards Dazzler now, and we think she’s the perfect fit for it.

Introduced in the late 1970s, Dazzler was a character created by Marvel in collaboration with Casablanca Records. The disco was in, and every nightclub was playing it, and Marvel wanted to capitalize on it by creating a character who was a disco star.

Thus came Dazzler, a mutant with the ability to convert sound vibrations into light and energy beams. Having a pop star stage persona and a disco aesthetic, Dazzler had blue eyes and strawberry-blond hair. She is a highly gifted professional singer, dancer, and expert, competition-level roller skater.

Naturally, Sabrina Carpenter is one of the few actresses who check all the boxes for portraying the MCU role. Although Marvel hasn’t given any official statements about the casting, fans remain excited about the possibility of their favorite singer joining a superhero film.
