Fans of gritty crime procedurals have an exciting new show to binge next month. All four seasons of ABC’s Will Trent are coming to Netflix on November 3, 2026. The fourth season aired earlier this year, premiering in January and wrapping up in May.
Based on Karin Slaughter’s bestselling novels, the series stars Ramón Rodríguez as Will Trent, a special agent with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. Will grew up in Atlanta’s foster care system and lives with severe dyslexia. Still, his sharp eye for detail makes him one of the very best agents in the entire bureau.
For NCIS fans, the show hits a lot of familiar notes. It mixes a new case every week with a close-knit team of investigators and a lead agent haunted by his past, much like Mark Harmon‘s Gibbs. It offers that same comforting blend of crime-solving and character drama of the NCIS shows.
Where Can You Stream All 4 Seasons of Will Trent Now?
Viewers do not have to wait until November to catch up on Will Trent. All four seasons are already streaming on Disney+ and Hulu, which have served as the show’s main streaming home since it first premiered on ABC in January 2023.
That makes sense, since ABC, Disney+, and Hulu all fall under the Disney umbrella. New episodes typically land on Hulu soon after they air on ABC, so fans who missed a week can easily keep up.
The Netflix arrival is part of a big new licensing deal between Disney and Netflix. All 59 episodes across the four seasons will be added to the platform, giving the show a chance to reach a much larger audience. It could also introduce the show to many curious new fans.
For those who want to test the waters before committing, there is also a free option. One season of the show can be watched for free on Fubo and YouTube TV, making it an easy way to sample the series. With so many ways to watch, now is a good time to meet Will Trent. Once it clicks, it is easy to see why the show has such a loyal fan base.
ABC Has Renewed Will Trent for Season 5

The renewal was announced alongside another ABC favorite, The Rookie, which earned a ninth season at the same time. Neither came as a shock. Both shows have been strong performers for the network, especially once streaming views are counted.
According to THR, Will Trent and The Rookie each pull in more than 8 million viewers per episode after a week of viewing across platforms, with most of that extra viewing happening on Hulu. Both also rank among the top 15 network entertainment series with adults aged 18 to 49.
Developed by Liz Heldens and Daniel T. Thomsen, the show has also won over audiences online. ABC has not yet announced a premiere date for Season 5. With the new Netflix deal bringing in fresh viewers, the show could enter its next chapter with a bigger audience than ever.
