Nami’s Steamiest Look of All Time Officially Returns to One Piece

In the anime universe, some character looks become so iconic that fans never really forget them. Nami has had plenty of memorable outfits throughout One Piece, and one of her boldest looks has now returned in a brand-new figurine.

The new Nami figurine was unveiled on September 26, 2026, at MegaHobby EXPO 2026 in Akihabara, Tokyo (via @Eiichiro_Staff on Twitter/X). It brings her Elbaf-era design to life, giving fans another look at how much Nami has changed since her first appearance in the East Blue.

Nami’s Bold New Look Returns in a New One Piece Figurine

The new Portrait of Pirates “Elevated Boost” Nami figurine was unveiled at MegaHobby EXPO 2026, which was held at AKIBA SQUARE inside Akihabara UDX. The event was free to attend, and the painted prototype quickly became one of the notable One Piece reveals from the showcase.

It uses Nami’s Elbaf design, giving her a look that feels very different from the outfits she wore during the early parts of the story. Her long hair, confident expression, and striking outfit all stand out, making the figurine feel more like a celebration of her current design than a simple piece of merchandise.

That is what makes this reveal especially fun. Nami has always been one of the Straw Hat Pirates whose appearance changes with every major arc, with her outfits usually matching the world she enters.

Elbaf is no different, and her latest look fits the huge, colorful setting of the giants surprisingly well. MegaHouse also revealed another Nami figurine at the event from the Portrait of Pirates “HEROINES-EDITION” line, based on the TV anime One Piece Heroines.

With two different Nami figurines being showcased at the same event, the event turned into quite a celebration for the Straw Hats’ navigator. Meanwhile, apart from Nami, the same event on September 26 also revealed the “Elevated Boost” figurines of two other important characters from the Elbaf arc: Gunko and Loki, while also teasing Scopper Gaban‘s design reveal for December 2026 (via Pirates Collection on Instagram).

Nami Has Come a Long Way From Her East Blue Debut to Elbaf

Nami was very different when she first appeared in One Piece. She started as a clever thief who hated pirates and wanted nothing more than to free her home from Arlong’s control. Her story in the Arlong Park Arc revealed the pain behind her actions and eventually brought her closer to Monkey D. Luffy and the Straw Hats.

After joining the crew, Nami slowly became much more than the person who simply drew maps and guided the ship. Her understanding of weather and the sea became one of the Straw Hats’ biggest advantages, especially as their journey moved into the Grand Line and later the New World.

Her fighting style also grew alongside her navigation skills. The Clima-Tact allowed Nami to turn her knowledge of weather into actual attacks, while her time in Weatheria helped her understand weather science on a much deeper level. She may not be one of the crew’s main physical fighters, but she has repeatedly found clever ways to survive battles against much stronger enemies.

That growth makes her Elbaf design feel more meaningful. The woman standing in that new figurine is no longer the nervous thief who struggled to trust pirates. She is a confident Straw Hat who has traveled across the world, faced some of the most dangerous enemies in the series, and continued to play a key role in keeping the crew alive.
