Honkai: Star Rail Version 4.6 is officially coming out very soon. HoYoverse has officially confirmed the date for the upcoming Special Program, which has been titled “Dance With the Beast Before Moonrise.” As usual, we can expect to get the first look at the upcoming characters, story, and events in the livestream.

The Version 4.6 livestream is scheduled for September 20, 2026, and we’ll get new details for Pearl, the upcoming character for the update. Of course, there will also be livestream codes that we can redeem for 300 Stellar Jades in total. Here’s everything you need to know!

The livestream will be available through the official Honkai: Star Rail Twitch and YouTube channels. The update itself is expected to arrive later, on September 27 for North America and September 28 for Europe and Asia, based on the currently predicted schedule.

The biggest focus of the Special Program will likely be Pearl, the upcoming 5-star character. Pearl is an Ice character following the Path of Elation and is currently expected to be the only new 5-star character introduced in Version 4.6.
We can expect HoYoverse to show us details about Pearl’s abilities, role, and gameplay during the broadcast. From recent leaks, Pearl seems to be a support with defensive abilities, but players should wait for the official livestream to get the full details.

Leaks suggest that Evanescia and Mortenax Blade could be the returning characters, but these details remain unconfirmed and could change before the official announcement.
Outside of that, we can also expect more details on the next Trailblaze Mission, Version 4.6 events, the update’s trailer, and potentially new Light Cones. Players will also want to keep an eye out for the limited-time livestream redemption codes, which are expected to provide 300 Stellar Jades when all three are redeemed.
