Spoiler Alert !!!
This article contains spoilers for The Boys.
Even with no superheroes existing in the real world, it would still take superhuman effort to take the White House in a frontal assault. Air defences and ground forces alike have turned the abode of the President of the United States into an impregnable fortress. Long gone are the days when you could let yourself in if no one answers the front door (like Charles Dickens did).
In the world of The Boys, where superheroes are as involved in politics as celebrities, the threat of them deciding to storm the White House is very real. While not everyone who receives Compound V has the capabilities to take the White House, The Boys has introduced several heroes that can give the various air and ground defences created to protect state secrets and the President in the White House a run for its money. Here are the top six that could absolutely tear the roof off the building and abduct the President of the United States.
6 Stormfront Was One of The Most Experienced, Immortal Supes
Stormfront received the first version of Compound V, called V1, as revealed by The Boys Season 5. The character has been publicly active as a hero since the Second World War, being a contemporary of Soldier Boy as Liberty (and starting Herogasm with the character). One of the strongest and most experienced supes on the planet, Stormfront could fairly take on the might of the United States Secret Service and the various branches of the military that would be assigned to protect the White House on a regular basis.
Stormfront, however, has been shown to be not as durable as Homelander. This allows the Secret Service to have a chance against the Supe. However, the chances of the security forces of the White House winning against Stormfront would be very small.
5 Black Noir II Is Trained For Covert Missions Involving Infiltration
All iterations of Black Noir are heavily trained for covert missions and espionage, and all of them have abilities that are on par with Homelander. Even the variation that was on Payback in the show would have been able to infiltrate and take out the defenses of the White House. Add to the fact that his powers are often hidden from the public to project that he is a different type of hero than Homelander, so if the White House does not have any prior intimation that Black Noir might be trying to break in, at least the initial forces would be in for a surprise.
4 A-Train Can Move While The World Around Him Stands Still
Season 5 of The Boys showed us that A-Train could do a lot of things that other heroes could not. He can literally move faster than Homelander’s heat vision, even when it is fired at point-blank range. If it were up to him to take the White House, A-Train could do so without a single life being lost. Perhaps the most versatile hero on the list, A-Train simply would not even register on devices, or even to other heroes that can move at superspeeds.
Alas, what could have been. RIP A-Train. With his death in Season 5, Episode 1, Fifteen Inches of Sheer Dynamite, we are left only with the “what ifs” of how his unmatched speed could have secured the White House without a drop of blood being spilled.
3 Ryan Was Able To Kill Stormfront Even When He Was Not Trained
Ryan is Homelander‘s natural-born son and one of the first Supes born into the world without having to be injected with Compound V. He was already strong enough to defeat Stormfront without training, and only grew stronger as he aged up. The character has been shown to take out trained soldiers in the latest episode of The Boys, and even tank hits from Homelander.
When it comes to invading the White House, more experienced supes might have a leg up. However, Ryan Butcher has proved to be a very competent fighter even without having much (or any) training. More than any student at God U, Ryan is the threat that can actually take down the defences of The White House, and take the building, albeit with slight difficulty.
2 Homelander Is Virtually Immune to Every Known Human Weapon
Up until Soldier Boy turned up, Homelander was the strongest superhero there was. In fact, there is not even an argument to be made here, given that he has already stormed the White House in the comics and will likely do so in the show, if the visuals from the trailer are to be taken at face value. Homelander is durable, fast, and equipped with an arsenal that can really do a lot of damage to even the most well-equipped military. There is simply nothing that can be done to stop the character from entering the White House if he chooses to.
1 Soldier Boy Can Match Homelander, And Is Immortal
Soldier Boy is perhaps the strongest character that has been introduced in the series. As strong as Homelander, and immortal, as revealed by The Boys Season 5, the character has spent most of his life fighting wars. Compared to Homelander, who has never fought characters that can match him in strength or faced an all-out war, Soldier Boy is practically a league above Homelander.
The character would take a lot less time to get into the White House, even in a head-on assault, compared to all other entries on the list. He will also be able to do so, taking a minimal amount of damage. As one of the few superheroes with actual combat training, even without his powers, the character is likely going to be able to fight his way through to the Oval Office pretty easily.

While these six supes have the raw power to dismantle the highest seat of government, the real question isn’t whether they can; it’s whether anyone is left to stop them. As we head into the final episodes of the series, the line between hero and villain has never been bloodier.
Did Homelander kill Ryan in The Boys Season 5?
While it appears that Homelander killed Ryan, the character is just severely injured, not dead.
How is Soldier Boy immortal?
Soldier Boy is immortal thanks to receiving V1, an earlier version of Compound V. This means that while the character can be killed (like Stormfront), he cannot die of disease or aging.
Did A-Train really die in Season 5?
Yes. After four seasons of running from his mistakes, A-Train finally stopped to take a stand. His death in the season 5 premiere has left a massive power vacuum in The Seven and a hole in the hearts of fans who were rooting for his “good guy” era.
Are there going to be more Seasons of The Boys after Season 5?
Season 5 is the final season of The Boys, though Amazon is far from done with the franchise.
