6 Banshee Popcorn Bucket for Avatar: Fire and Ash (2025)

This one is wild in size rather than in spirit. The bucket for Avatar: Fire and Ash is shaped like an ikran, the winged creature from Pandora, with a woven Na’vi-style basket sitting on its back to hold your popcorn.

The catch is the visual. It almost feels wrong to dig your hand repeatedly into a beloved character who is basically hugging your snacks. It lands in the middle of the list because it is odd to look at but genuinely functional.

3 Ecto-1 Popcorn Bucket for Ghostbusters: Afterlife (2021)

The famous Ghostbusters car makes for a great shelf piece, but a pretty poor snack holder. The popcorn sits inside the body of the vehicle, so you are basically fishing around under a plastic roof while trying not to knock off the sirens.

It is shallow, awkward, and holds far less than a standard tub. Still, fans loved it as a collectible, and plenty bought it purely to display during Ghostbusters: Afterlife‘s run. It beats Groot because the design puts looking cool ahead of eating comfortably.

2 Guile Popcorn Bucket for Street Fighter (2026)

While most buckets sit in your lap, this one sits on your head. AMC’s Street Fighter collectible recreates Guile’s gravity-defying flattop, and it straps on, so you can grab handfuls from your own hairdo. Cody Rhodes called it “aerodynamic, ergonomic, delicious,” which is very funny and only partly true.

Wearing it means blindly reaching upward while butter drips down, so most people will probably keep it in their lap. It ranks this high because turning a video game haircut into a wearable snack helmet is a very bold swing.

1 Sandworm Popcorn Bucket for Dune: Part Two (2024)

There is no contest as to who takes the top spot. AMC’s sandworm bucket opened its ribbed orange mouth, and the internet immediately noticed it looked like something else entirely. Even as Dune: Part Two became a major hit, the jokes about the bucket spread everywhere, inspiring an SNL sketch.
