Netflix did something that would make Tom Holland raise his eyebrows. Yes, they accidentally posted the trailer for Stranger Things season 5.

Although the streaming giant deleted the clip quickly, some keen-eyed fans were quick to save the trailer, and the leaked trailer is now making its way on the internet. In fact, here’s what the trailer looked like when Netflix uploaded it.

Many of these trailers have been taken down by Netflix due to copyright issues, but more and more are being spread as each minute goes by.

Well, clearly there was a mistake, and Netflix might have paid a heavy price for it. What was supposed to be a well-planned trailer launch for the fifth and final season of Stranger Things turned into a disaster when Netflix accidentally uploaded the trailer ahead of time.

Fans were quick to notice Netflix’s mistake before the streaming giant even realized it. Naturally, Netflix removed the trailer from almost everywhere.

Well, it could be that Netflix might have forgotten to add/remove certain things from the trailer. It could also have been an accidental upload ahead of time. Whatever the cause may be, one thing that’s for certain is that Netflix’s trailer launch did not go ahead as planned.

Stranger Things: What Can You Expect From the Final Season?

For starters, the trailer looks intense and completely high-stakes. With Eleven battling it out with Will and Mike with grim looks on their faces, it seems that Stranger Things Season 5 will not only come with a definitive end, but it might also come with a lot of death.

There have been theories that the character of Steve or Eleven might end up dying, all trying to kill Vecna. The trailer does give brief glimpses of the characters in danger.

The final season will also explain what the Upside-Down is and hopefully, close the chapter completely on a franchise that originally debuted almost 10 years ago.
