Dispatch episodes 7 and 8 didn’t give a single moment to breathe, and you need to be quick with every distress call to be successful. Not only that, hacking plays a big part in gaining heroes as well, which makes things a bit tougher.
Spoiler Alert !!!
This article contains solutions for puzzles given in Dispatch episodes 7 and 8.
Dispatch Episode 7 Hacking Puzzles Walkthrough
Probably the easiest puzzle you can find in the entirety of Dispatch. | Image Credit: AdHoc Studios/FandomWireDispatch episode 7 has only one puzzle, and it’s fairly easy, as you’ll only have to bait. The hacking puzzle appears at the first minute with the Runaway Car mission, so select and start the mini-game.
Once you start the puzzle, go forward and bait the antivirus to chase you and come back to get it shocked up the powerlines. Once that’s destroyed, go ahead and build the bridge towards the right part of the mini-game. At the end, you’ll find another build icon, so use it to connect to the second anti-virus. Immediately, it will start chasing you and get destroyed by the nearby power line.
Next, move towards the password node at the end and remember the combination, and then use it on the lock node on the topmost part of the puzzle. As soon as you enter the code, the anti-virus will start chasing you again, retreat back, and get it destroyed.
Go back to the top and use the build node on the top left side to build a bridge to the finishing. Interact with it and you’ll have the puzzle completed in no time at all.

Dispatch Episode 8 Hacking Puzzles Walkthrough
The final episode of Dispatch has a lot of hacking involved, and most of them are required to unlock some heroes. Here’s the solution to each of them:
Locate the Tracker Mission (Unlocks Flambae)
Speed is key to completing the Flambae tracking puzzle. | Image Credit: AdHoc Studios/FandomWireStart the puzzle and build the bridge, but instead of going to the top, you’ll have to focus on the build node near the antivirus. Just bait it and make it go around you. Don’t go for the top one, because you’ll have to input a longer key sequence.
Once you do it, bait the antivirus to follow you and make it go around the loop you just created, and then use the build atop the square section. This will unlock the path to the power node and juice your avatar up to break the antivirus. Follow through with the pathway to unlock the map.
You’ll find a frequency match in the right section of the puzzle. Move your avatar around until you find the right frequency. But as soon as you find the first, you’ll have to look for the next, which can be found right vertically up from the point where you found the first frequency.
After this, you’ll get a mission to rescue Flambae from a refinery. Here, speed and endurance are the key, so you’ll need to send heroes accordingly to fulfill the mission.
Locate Sonar/Coupe’s Tracker
Make the antivirus run for its money. | Image Credit: AdHoc Studios/FandomWireLocating Sonar or Coupe‘s tracker will require taking a risk, but before that, just go to the top left corner of the tracking puzzle to complete the first objective. Next, you’ll need to make a pathway connecting to the antivirus and bait it outside. Once it’s out of the section where it was trapped, go in and match the frequency by moving the left part of the section.
On completion, you’ll get a mission to rescue Sonar or Coupe at the docks. Speed is the top priority for the mission, with minimal requirement for endurance. Make sure heroes are available that fulfil these criteria.
Locate Waterboy/Phenomaman’s Tracker
Deception is key to locating the final tracker location. | Image Credit: AdHoc Studios/FandomWireOnce you start this puzzle and go to the top-right part of the puzzle, to get the first frequency. Next, unlock the build node on the top part of the puzzle make the antivirus chase you. While it’s chasing you, move to the second build node to trap it in a place by entering the sequence. You’ll find the final frequency in the top left part of the interface.
After you finish this hacking puzzle, you’ll get a mission to save Waterboy or Phenomaman from a moving train with no brakes. Again, speed is the top priority here with minimal endurance requirements. Do it right, and you’ll get the hero without having him depressed.
Lockdown Mission
The goal is to bring the charges to the lower nodes. | Image Credit: AdHoc Studios/FandomWireIn phase two of Dispatch episode 8, you’ll be greeted with the Lockdown distress call. It’s a power node and bulb-based puzzle, so you’ll need to think fast. Start the puzzle by learning the secret passcode sequence and use it to unlock the bottom left power node.
Next, charge your avatar by using the power node on the bottom left side, and then move up to charge the bulb node at the top. While you’re up there, you’ll find a build node, so complete that to make a pathway and then charge your avatar with the next node.
Now, instead of charging the upcoming bulb node, you’ll need to take the charge back to the first node where you took the first charge. Then make your way back to the powered node at the top, take it back to charge the bulb node on the right part of the puzzle.
Move back to the power node on the bottom left and take the charge to the double bulb node. Use the build node in the center part of the puzzle, and bring the last node home, where it belongs.
Defeat Mindf**ker Mission
There are some invisible paths to cross. | Image Credit: AdHoc Studios/FandomWireThis is a confusing puzzle. At the end of the pathway, you’ll not find a pathway. Go back to the start and come back to the same position to get a build node with an additional pathway. Now, you’ll probably think you’ll have to go back and get the build node again, but that doesn’t work. That’s more mindbending than Brainteaser’s riddles.
Use your imagination, like literally. Just keep moving left and run away from the antivirus (it won’t chase you forever). Now here’s where things get trickier because the control gets inverted completely. If you go left, the avatar will move right.
Use reversed inputs for anything you want to do next, and that applies to the build node sequence as well. On completing the second build node, you’ll see the pathway isn’t connected. Another illusion, just follow the right pathway, and continue towards the final build node to get home free.
Those were all the hacking puzzles you can find through Dispatch episodes 7 and 8. Were you able to complete all the distress calls without having any heroes injured? Who’s your favorite hero from the entire roster of Z-Team? Share with us in the comments below.
