With the series being an Amazon MGM Studios production, The Greatest is expected to put things to scale with Michael B. Jordan, Josh Wakely, and Lonnie Ali serving as executive producers of the show.

The plot follows the personal and professional life of Muhammad Ali, as he goes from an underdog to the greatest boxing champion that the world ever saw. In fact, Michael Ealy will be portraying the role of Malcolm X, a role that was made famous by Denzel Washington in his 1992 film.
