As a proud Canadian-born senior, l have cherished the memories of a once strong, vibrant, and well-respected nation. But these last 11 years, under the destructive leadership of Justin Trudeau and Mark Carney, I have witnessed the dismantling of my once-proud Canada. I also have to question why the majority of my fellow Canadians continue to blindly support the Liberals, as they continue to take a wrecking ball to the basic beliefs and goals that made Canada a once-great nation.

I agree with Geddy Lee. We must vote Olivia out for so many reasons: Affordability, high taxes among the most important. My wife and I are seniors and I am 79 years.

SWEATER WEATHE
Re ”Super El Nino’ heating up Ontario fall temperatures’ (Spiro Papuckoski, Sept. 30): Climate action always comes with an upside. We’ll need to stormproof our houses against crazy weather, but we’ll save tons of money on our gas bills. They’ll fix more power lines, but they’ll upgrade the components so we can drive EVs all we want to for cheap. And we’ll have more ice storms — but a super beautiful fall.

RUSH TO THE POLLS
Seeing Rush this past summer with my childhood friend at Scotiabank Arena (50 whole years after seeing them for the first time at Massey Hall in June 1976 when they recorded their first live album All the World’s a Stage) was so cool and iconic. But now I know why I really love Geddy Lee … he is endorsing Brad Bradford as mayor! Geddy is not only musically one of our most treasured rock ‘n roll icons of Canada, but also politically astute!
