Justin Baldoni Finally Makes Rare Appearance After Brutal Blake Lively Drama

Justin Baldoni made a rare appearance on Dancing With the Stars on October 13. He was in the audience during the ABC dance competition show’s Super Bowl Night-themed episode. His wife, Emily Baldoni, and their two daughters also joined him in the audience.

After Maura Higgins and Mark Ballas performed the first dance, the camera panned towards Baldoni and his family sitting in the audience. However, his appearance wasn’t just random. According to Page Six, the Baldoni family was there as “special guests of Julianne Hough, who is a longtime family friend.” Hough, co-host of Dancing With the Stars, also appeared in the It Ends With Us actor’s 2012 docuseries My Last Days.

This marks a rare public appearance for Baldoni, who was involved in a two-year-long legal battle with his co-star Blake Lively. Baldoni, who has maintained a low profile ever since, said in an Instagram video, “We have not spoken publicly for the better part of the last two years. There have been so many painful things that have been spoken into existence. We didn’t want to add to the noise, so we just wanted to let the justice system run its course.”

Blake Lively accused Baldoni of s*xual harassment on the set of It Ends With Us. She also accused him of running an alleged smear campaign against her. After a long legal dispute, in April 2026, a judge dismissed Lively’s claims. A month later, both parties settled their lawsuits without either receiving financial compensation. In August 2026, a judge awarded Lively approximately $407,000 in legal fees and court costs related to Baldoni’s dismissal lawsuit.

Since It Ends With Us was released in 2024, Baldoni has mainly continued working as a producer through Wayfarer Studios. He is currently working as a producer for House of Guerrero. The upcoming boxing drama is being helmed by Gina Rodriguez. Production began in September 2026.

Baldoni is also attached as an executive producer on Dinner with Audrey. The film is about Audrey Hepburn, and it currently has Thomasin McKenzie and Ansel Elgort as main stars.
