However, this attitude towards the game should be called out and addressed duly to maintain a healthy relationship with it. Otherwise, things will soon begin to get out of hand, and it will be too late to do anything about it. This is the right time to address this problem and make people aware of these toxic traits.

The sub reddit of Helldivers 2 has been witnessing a boom in toxicity regarding the game being too easy for some of the players. These people want the game to implement changes by tweaking the game’s difficulty a little.

However, it is not fair on some of the average players to be made feel bad about their performance in the game. The people who are currently claiming that the game has become too easy should realise that they do not speak for everyone. It might be true that the game has become easy for that particular individual who might want to see some changes.

This is restricted to the skillset and the number of game hours a single person has given to the game. There are a lot of people who might have more than 2000 hours in Helldivers 2 and are now claiming that the game has become too easy. It is not fair on other players, and this is where toxicity germinates from.

It is absolutely fine to ask for a higher difficulty setting based on a player’s MMR. This MMR system is widely used in most competitive games. Having said that, Helldivers 2 is not a competitive game; it cannot be treated in the same way.

Claiming that the game has become too easy affects most players in a negative way. There are very few percentage of players who might be very good at it, but the developers will never just focus on that small group of people and help build a more wholesome environment for them.
