Emily Rudd Officially Returns to Netflix for One Piece in 2 Days

In Netflix’s One Piece live-action, the Straw Hats have already taken fans from the East Blue to the Grand Line, but their biggest adventures are now getting a playful new look. Netflix is bringing the live-action crew back as LEGO characters for a special retelling of their journey.

LEGO ONE PIECE arrives on September 29 (via Netflix), just two days from now, with Emily Rudd returning as Nami alongside the rest of the live-action Straw Hat cast. The two-part special will revisit the events of the first two seasons while giving fans a fun new way to experience some of the crew’s most memorable moments.

Emily Rudd is once again stepping into Nami‘s role, only this time the Straw Hat navigator is being brought to life in LEGO form. The upcoming Netflix special reunites the live-action cast to voice their brick-built versions, making Rudd’s return feel like a fun extension of her journey as Nami.

The special retells the Straw Hats’ adventures across the East Blue and into the Grand Line, covering events from the first two seasons of Netflix’s One Piece live-action. Instead of simply replaying those stories, however, LEGO ONE PIECE uses Usopp as the narrator. He tells Chopper about the crew’s adventures, giving the familiar story a lighter and more playful feel.

Rudd will be joined by Iñaki Godoy as Luffy, Mackenyu as Zoro, Jacob Romero Gibson as Usopp, Taz Skylar as Sanji, and Mikaela Hoover as Chopper. Having the same actors return is a particularly fun touch because they already understand how their characters speak, react, and interact.

Meanwhile, Rudd has already captured the character’s sharp humor, practical nature, and softer side in the live-action series. Hearing that same voice behind a LEGO version of Nami should make the character feel familiar even when the world around her is much sillier. LEGO ONE PIECE is produced with the LEGO Group, Shueisha, and Atomic Cartoons. One Piece creator Eiichiro Oda serves as an executive producer, while Chelsea Ker directs both episodes.

The One Piece Cast Has More Adventures Ahead in 2027

LEGO ONE PIECE may offer a lighter version of the Straw Hats, but the live-action crew has a much bigger adventure waiting for them. Netflix has confirmed Season 3 for 2027, with the story moving into the Alabasta Saga. This part of the story should make the world feel much bigger. Luffy and his crew become closely tied to Vivi’s struggle to save her kingdom, while Baroque Works and its leader, Crocodile, become a serious threat to their journey.

Season 3 will also introduce several important characters, including Xolo Maridueña as Portgas D. Ace, Cole Escola as Bon Clay, Daisy Head as Miss Doublefinger, and Awdo Awdo as Mr. 1. The Alabasta Saga also gives Rudd more room to show why Nami matters to the Straw Hat Pirates. She is not just their navigator; her practical thinking often balances Luffy’s impulsive nature and helps the crew survive dangerous situations.

For now, LEGO ONE PIECE gives fans a playful reunion with the cast before the live-action story moves forward. Rudd’s return as Nami may be in LEGO form, but her journey with the Straw Hats is far from over.
