How to Beat Black Blade Kindred

There are at least three different methods to defeat this overpowered boss: fighting it head-on with a strong melee build, shooting projectiles and casting spells from a safe distance, and lastly, bobbing and weaving while riding on your trusty steed. These methods are risky but effective against the Black Blade Kindred with a little more determination.

Players with a strong build on melee will want to get up close and underneath the massive gargoyle.

Staying within range will decrease the chances of the enemy performing a charge attack; however, players should be mindful of the close-range melee attacks like the sword swings and slams. The Black Blade Kindred is susceptible to strike attacks, and this method will work like a charm.

The running method is much more time-consuming and tedious. Players will have to strike from behind with their weapon that can deal the most damage like the Carian Grandeur then ride on Torrent back to the Bestial Sanctum.

There will be a small opening for players to take cover and the enemy can’t get in and will walk away. Slowly chip away the long health bar by repeating this method.

This strategy is somewhat similar to the easiest way to defeat Omenkiller. Players can distract the enemy boss then lead them to a spot beyond the reach of their physical attacks and cast powerful spells and attacks to inflict status damage.

Players can summon different spirits and allies to distract the enemy long enough for them to use spells like Comet Azur. Ranged attacks can keep them far from incoming melee attacks but the Black Blade Kindred has a few ranged attacks up its sleeves. The boss will roar and shoot projectiles that can be easily dodged.
