On the one hand, it shows just how deeply committed he is to his ideals. On the other hand, it makes him seem heartless and ungrateful for the friendships and bonds he had formed along the way.

a child with ptsd has more understanding then his haters. sasuke wanted to change the broken cycle by just leaving things as is caused a world war for the 4th time. the final battle was sasuke ideals that in the end had contradictions so naruto would win.
