Toronto Police say an officer and two teens were sent to hospital after a police cruiser was involved in an accident with another car on Tuesday morning around 10:15 a.m.

The collision happened at Albion Rd. and Kipling Ave. and the intersection was closed in all directions while the investigation was underway.

Cops said the officer and a 16-year-old female passenger from the other car were taken to hospital with minor injuries while the 19-year-old male driver went to hospital with serious injuries.

All of the injuries were deemed non-life-threatening.

ARSON INVESTIGATION AT REBEL NIGHTCLUB

Arson is suspected in an early morning Toronto fire at Rebel nightclub at Cherry and Polson Sts.

Cops said they received the call just after 5 a.m. to respond to a blaze at a business in the area.

The fire was put out and no injuries were reported. Toronto Fire was on the scene investigating.

YORK COPS PROBE HOME INVASION

York Regional Police are investigating a home invasion on Tuesday morning just before 4:30 a.m. in Richmond Hill.

Cops said they responded to the invasion at a residence at Red Oak and Hyde Park drives.

Police said the suspects fled the area prior to police arrival and there were minor injuries to one of the occupants of the residence.

PEDESTRIAN HIT, HOSPITALIZED

A 50-year-old male was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after being hit by a car at Dundas St. and Islington Ave. on Tuesday morning.

Toronto Police said the man was struck at 7:53 a.m. and was taken to hospital on an emergency run.

Cops said the driver remained on the scene.
