Peel Regional Police also say two other suspects are wanted in connection with the brazen incident.
Police say, at approximately 4:30 a.m. on June 14, five people were asleep inside a residence in the area of McLaughlin Rd. and Steeles Ave. W. when it is alleged three bandits forcibly entered the home through a rear glass door.
According to police, a fourth person remained in a nearby vehicle. A confrontation then occurred after the suspects encountered the occupants inside the home.

Victims suffered gunshot wounds
Cops say two occupants of the home suffered gunshot wounds and were transported to hospital. The victims received treatment and continue to recover from their injuries at home.
Investigators with the Central Robbery Bureau arrested two individuals on July 15, police said.

Javaunie Thomas and a youth were each charged with attempted murder using a firearm, aggravated assault, robbery, disguise with intent, discharge firearm with intent, unauthorized possession of a firearm, possession of property obtained by crime, and failing to comply with sentence or disposition under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
Both accused were held for bail hearings and remain in custody, cops said.
“Violent home invasions have a profound impact on victims, their families and entire communities,” Peel Regional Police Chief Nishan Duraiappah said in a statement Friday.
“When individuals are targeted in their own homes, it undermines the sense of safety and security that every resident deserves to feel. The arrests … reflect the determination of our investigators to protect our communities and hold offenders accountable.”

Two other suspects sought
Police say the investigation remains ongoing as detectives continue their efforts to identify and find the two other suspects.
One suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion, approximately six feet tall with a heavy build, who was armed with a handgun.
Investigators don’t have a description of the second suspect as that person was the driver of the getaway vehicle.
