U.S. President teases: Some of the classified information is 'interesting'

U.S. President Donald Trump said his administration will be declassifying “a lot of things” from the government’s files on unidentified flying objects.
When asked by a reporter about the UFO files on Wednesday, Trump said, “I think we’re going to be releasing as much as we can in the near future.”

The President made the comments at an event with the crew of NASA’s landmark Artemis II mission at the White House.
With the four astronauts standing by his side in the Oval Office, Trump said some of the classified information on UFOs will be “interesting to people.”
He then added, “I’ve interviewed some pilots … and they said they saw things you wouldn’t believe.”
Earlier this month at the Turning Point USA rally in Phoenix, the President said he would direct Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth to release the files on UFOs.
Trump said at the time, “this process was well underway and we’ve found many interesting documents, I must say, and the first releases will begin very, very soon.”

Obama sparked interest in government UFO files
Back in February, former U.S. president Barack Obama appeared on a podcast in which he said aliens were real, though he had not seen them.
“And, they’re not being kept in Area 51,” Obama added when he spoke to podcast host Brian Tyler Cohen.
The comments quickly went viral, prompting Trump to respond, accusing his predecessor of leaking “classified information.”
Trump then followed up in a Truth Social post, stating that “based on the tremendous interest shown,” he was directing the Department of War and “other relevant departments and agencies” to release files related to aliens, extraterrestrial life, unidentified aerial phenomena and UFOs, calling them “highly complex, but extremely interesting and important matters.”
