Travis Kelce ignores Taylor Swift engagement rumors and has only one thing on his mind

Travis Kelce will not be getting engaged to Taylor Swift just yet as the billionaire popstar and Kansas City Chiefs star are focusing on making each other happy and on continuing to enjoy their openness in public.

The football player and Cruel Summer singer have been dating for over a year now and for a large portion of 2024, engagement rumors have been swirling including destinations of where they might even tie the knot.

At one stage the 35-year-old triple Super Bowl champion was even asked when he's going to "make an honest woman" out of the 34-year-old by Ted Lasso's Jason Sudeikis but laughed the question off, clearly uncomfortable to talk about it.

So now with rumors circulating again after they recently celebrated one year of dating, a source has dismissed suggestions Kelce could be set to pop the all-important question as they simply focus on dating each other and being happy.

"Taylor feels comfortable to be open and loving with Travis because their relationship is just that," an insider told Entertainment Tonight. "Travis adores Taylor and is just focused on keeping her happy.

"Having each other's support has changed them both. [They] can be their authentic selves and love each other for who they are. They encourage each other and inspire each other personally and creatively.

"It's a very easy-going relationship because they have such a strong bond. Everyone is excited about their future together."

And if you are still unconvinced, this isn't the first time that a source has dismissed suggestions that Kelce will be taking one knee anytime soon.

The most recent example came after ESPN's Troy Aikman, ex-Dallas Cowboys quarterback, claimed he heard they could be engaged.

"It's not true," the insider told TMZ. "And the recent erratic and unfounded speculation on this couple is just proving that media and overzealous fans do not know what's going on with them and shouldn't make wild assumptions based on zero facts.

"Two days ago everyone had decided they were broken up, now they're allegedly secretly engaged? It's whiplash-inducing."
