Ben Affleck never regretted moving out of family home he shared with Jennifer Lopez

Ben Affleck is fully moving on after his separation from Jennifer Lopez, with sources revealing that the actor has "never looked back" since leaving the 68-million-dollar home he once shared with the singer.

According to People, Affleck is now focused on his work and family, staying "busy and happy" as he enters a new phase of his life.

Affleck, 52, and Lopez, 55, had purchased their Los Angeles mansion in May 2023, nearly a year after their intimate Las Vegas wedding.

However, by mid-2024, rumors of their split began to surface, with Affleck reportedly moving into a rental home while they worked through their issues. By June, the Gone Girl actor had completely moved his belongings out of their shared property, signaling the end of their relationship.

In July, Affleck purchased a new 20-million-dollar mansion on the same day Lopez celebrated her 55th birthday in the Hamptons without him.

Despite being apart on their second wedding anniversary, Lopez was photographed visiting Affleck in August for his 52nd birthday. However, by the end of that month, Lopez officially filed for divorce, marking the end of their two-year marriage.

Prioritizing family and staying amicable

Despite the split, the former couple has been spotted together on multiple occasions. Sources told People that they are maintaining a cordial relationship, particularly for the sake of their children.

"They all came together for a fun lunch so the kids could hang out. She is trying to be friendly with Ben," the source told People Magazine.

Affleck shares three children-Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12-with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner. Lopez, on the other hand, is the mother of 16-year-old twins, Emme and Max, whom she shares with her third husband, Marc Anthony. Both Lopez and Affleck are committed to co-parenting and keeping the peace between their blended families.

In the meantime, Lopez has opened up about her split from Affleck in a recent interview with Interview magazine. She expressed that she's enjoying her independence.

"I am capable of joy and happiness all by myself. Being in a relationship doesn't define me." Lopez also emphasized that she's "excited" to be single and move forward with her life.

As they both continue to focus on their careers and family, Affleck and Lopez are moving on from their past, each embracing their new realities while remaining committed to their children and personal growth.
