Police are on the hunt for a 78-year-old Toronto man accused of an aggravated assault in the Leslieville area earlier this week.

Toronto Police said they responded to an assault call on Monday at about 9 a.m. in the Queen St. E.-Pape Ave. area. Officers found a person with serious, non-life-threatening injuries when they arrived and the victim was transported to a hospital.

Police said the suspect and the victim are known to each other.

Jian Liu is wanted for aggravated assault and assault with a weapon. He is 5-foot-8, balding and has a medium build.

Driver sought after motorcyclist struck by car

Police are seeking tips on the identity of a man accused of fleeing a crash earlier this month in North York.

Toronto Police said they responded to reports of a crash on July 15 at about 6:45 p.m. in the Carnforth Rd.-Lawrence Ave. E. area, where a 17-year-old boy was driving a motorcycle southbound on Carnforth.

Police said a white Honda Civic driving northbound on Carnforth crossed the centre line, struck the motorcyclist and then fled from the area.

The motorcyclist was hospitalized with serious injuries.

The driver of the Honda is male and was wearing black pants, a black T-shirt with a graphic on the front, white and black basketball shoes and a black face covering.

Police are seeking the identity of a woman accused of incapacitating and robbing a person at their residence near Roy Thomson Hall.

The incident allegedly happened on Friday at about 2:30 a.m. in the John St.-King St. W. area of the downtown core, where the victim contacted a woman through an online ad and had her come to their home.

Police said there was an exchange of money for sexual services, but the woman administered an unknown substance to incapacitate the victim and stole cash from them.

The female suspect is about 25 years old, 5-foot-7, 140 pounds and has a thin build and black hair. She was last seen wearing all-black clothing and black framed glasses.
