Torchlight: Infinite doesn’t have a traditional Class system. Instead, the heroes are your Classes, and they are further divided by Traits (subclasses) that determine their ultimate playstyle. With the beginning of the game’s new Season, Lunaria, a tier list is required to know which characters stand out from the crowd.
All characters have their own uses, and it all depends on how well you can utilise them with different builds. So, here’s a Torchlight: Infinite Class tier list for April 2026.

S-Tier includes those Classes that dominate the meta with the best Traits in Torchlight: Infinite’s current season:
- Sage: Sage is a terrific addition to Torchlight: Infinite’s roster, and her Elixir-based kit is immensely versatile for creating top-tier builds. Her Traits deal with Elixir Skill Effects, Mana Recovery, Life Recovery, and damage bonuses, which are all extremely useful for clearing endgame content. Her kit’s defensive capabilities are already phenomenal, so when sorting her gear, you can focus fully on offensive stats.
- Rosa (Unsullied Blade): Rosa 2 (Unsullied Blade) remains one of the most powerful Classes, and she can easily clear Supreme Showdown 21, thanks to her kit focused on Mana Stacking and her Mercury mechanic. While she received minor nerfs, her Mystic Mercury/Realm of Mercury state still make her an S-Tier League Starter.
- Gemma (Frostbitten Heart): Gemma 2 (Frostbitten Heart) didn’t receive many changes for Lunaria, so she remains a top-tier League Starter, especially with the right build. Her Cold Damage and Frostbite abilities are devastatingly lethal, mowing down waves of enemies, which will come in handy for clearing endgame content.
- Carino (Lethal Flash): Carino 2 (Lethal Flash) received a major rework with Torchlight: Infinite’s Lunaria season, with the ability for Projectiles to return automatically. Projectile Skills now consume ammo and provide additional damage, so Carino’s effectiveness as a League Starter has been significantly buffed with the Lunaria update.
- Youga (Spacetime Elapse): Youga 2 (Spacetime Elapse) was already a top-tier League Starter in Torchlight: Infinite’s previous season. But his Lunaria buffs make him even better, and his recent Twisted Spacetime adjustments significantly improve his Damage Over Time capabilities.
- Rehan (Seething Silhouette): Rehan 2’s (Seething Silhouette) playstyle is dependent on Berserk in Torchlight: Infinite, and that hasn’t failed him yet as a League Starter. Gaining Rage, Life Stacking, and calling upon Seething Spirits to aid him make his playstyle versatile, and with the right build, he can become a beast.
- Erika (Wind Stalker): Swift movement and additional Attack Damage are the foundation for Erika 1 (Wind Stalker), and she’s a top-tier contender for clearing Supreme Showdown 21. Moving quickly and hitting harder will rapidly become your go-to playstyle with Erika 1 as your League Starter.
- Erika (Lightning Shadow): Erika 2 (Lightning Shadow) uses lightning-powered Ember Tech to gain various buffs, including increased movement speed and damage, both of which can be used to your advantage when clearing Supreme Showdown bosses. Electrifying and Numbing enemies is what she’s best at, and with the ability to Critically Strike with Feline Figure, the damage she deals is further amplified, making her even stronger.
- Erika (Vendetta’s Sting): When it comes to melee-focused Classes, you cannot go wrong with Erika 3 (Vendetta’s Sting) in Torchlight: Infinite Season 12: Lunaria as a League Starter. Her kit already boasts additional damage, thanks to skills triggered by Vendetta. The ability to generate a Phantom for every three Vendetta casts and deal 3x damage massively elevates her overall kit.
2 A-Tier
Some of the finest in the game! | Credits: XDA-Tier features formidable Classes who can stand on their own two feet as League Starters, despite not reaching the heights of the S-Tiers in Torchlight: Infinite:
- Iris (Growing Breeze): Iris 1 (Growing Breeze) received some adjustments in the Lunaria season, and instead of 40, she now needs only 10 stacks of Nourishment for Spirit Magus to enter Full Bloom, unlocking her potential quicker. Her Spirits have received significant buffs, allowing her to deal even more damage than before in Torchlight: Infinite.
- Iris (Vigilant Breeze): Iris 2 (Vigilant Breeze) is a better contender for clearing endgame content, compared to Iris 1, thanks to the Rock Magus. She’s a bit more versatile, balancing defense and offense perfectly, and while in the Vigilant state, the Merged Spirit Magi gain Breeze stacks and deal more damage with the help of her Traits.
- Thea (Blasphemer): Thea 3 (Blasphemer) gains Divine Blessings similar to her other counterparts. However, her kit focuses on the Desecration ability, which deals massive Erosion Damage, making her stand out. Thea 3 remains an optimal character for clearing Supreme Showdown 21, and while she now applies Desecration to herself, her Erosion Damage received a significant buff in Lunaria, making her highly potent.
- Gemma (Flame of Pleasure): Gemma 3 (Flame of Pleasure) is still an incredibly powerful Class and a great League Starter for Torchlight: Infinite’s current season. She received a multitude of buffs in Lunaria, and Purgatory now also provides additional minion damage for every second active, so this damage boost will take you a long way.
- Carino (Zealot of War): Players can perform well with Carino 3 (Zealot of War) as a League Starter, and with the right build, he can become formidable. While he received multiple buffs and nerfs, especially to his Heat Up effect, he remains a solid Class with his Projectile Skills, dealing bonus damage with the help of his Traits.
3 B-Tier
Solid options all around! | Credits: XDB-Tier includes those Classes that are decent, but they’re less played than the ones listed above in Torchlight: Infinite:
- Youga (Spacetime Illusion): Youga 1 (Spacetime Illusion) received minor adjustments in Torchlight: Infinite Season 12: Lunaria. He’s less played than his Spacetime Elapse counterpart, but his kit, focused on Spell Skills with the help of Spacetime Illusion, remains decent for a League Starter.
- Selena (Sing with the Tide): Selena 1’s (Sing with the Tide) received some adjustments, but she’s not as popular as the other options in the previous tiers. Her kit’s great, and her Tide effect was buffed in Loud Song state. However, for clearing endgame content, you’re better off with other Classes with stronger builds.
- Rehan (Anger): Rehan 1 (Anger) still deals solid Burst Damage, and his Rage mechanics work effectively against enemies and bosses. He’s a decent League Starter as well, but his popularity pales in comparison to his Seething Silhouette counterpart.
- Rosa (High Court Chariot): Rosa 1’s (High Court Chariot) Holy Domain ability provides her with serious buffs, elevated further with the Groundshaker skill, which allows her to deal massive Weapon Attack Damage on hit. She has always been consistent, but she didn’t receive any major changes in the Lunaria season.
- Thea (Incarnation of the Gods): Thea 2 (Incarnation of the Gods) was significantly reworked for the Lunaria season, receiving massive changes to her kit with the addition of a new Trait. The Divine Realm mechanic noticed some buffs, so overall, Thea 2 remains a decent damage dealer, especially with the Tenacity Blessing in Torchlight: Infinite.
- Thea (Wisdom of the Gods): Thea 1 (Wisdom of the Gods) generates all Divine Blessings, but Focus Generation is your priority to create the best build, since God’s Boon consumes all Focus Blessings to offer various buffs. If you can prioritise Focus generation, then she can deal more damage with God’s Boon at the cost of Blessings, increasing her damage output.
4 C-Tier
Good but not meta-dominating! | Credits: XDC-Tier includes those classes that don’t fit Torchlight: Infinite’s current meta:
- Gemma (Ice-Fire Fusion): Gemma 1 (Ice-Fire Fusion) combines Cold and Fire skills to deal devastating damage, thanks to her Trait, but her kit remains largely unchanged in Lunaria, so she doesn’t fit the current meta. Additionally, her other counterparts significantly outshine her performance in the endgame so choose them as League Starters instead.
- Moto (Charge Calling): Moto 2 (Charge Calling) observed minor buffs to his Synthetic Troop minions, so his combat capabilities remain decent. But again, when it comes to the endgame, he doesn’t have enough powerful or diverse builds to justify his position in the higher tiers.
- Moto (Order Calling): Moto 1 (Order Calling) received some reworks in Torchlight: Infinite’s Lunaria season, especially in the Synthetic Troop minions department and his kit is decent. However, he’s been off-meta with his underperformance, so there are far better options for a League Starter.
- Bing (Creative Genius): Bing 2’s (Creative Genius) kit received some changes, with some buffs and nerfs sprinkled inside his Ingenuity Overload ability. Despite a solid kit that focuses on utilizing Whimsy Essence to deal bonus damage, he fails to outshine the other players in the higher tiers.
5 D-Tier
Better off without them! | Credits: XDD-Tier features the Classes that most players ignore, so finding a formidable build for them is challenging in Torchlight: Infinite:
- Carino (Ranger of Glory): Carino 1 (Ranger of Glory) didn’t see major adjustments, and he isn’t a popular Class either. His other variants fit the meta, but Ranger of Glory’s lack of significant buffs puts him behind, despite solid Projectile Skill-focused Traits.
- Bing (Blast Nova): Bing 1 (Blast Nova) didn’t receive any major changes either, and he’s not an optimal League Starter in Torchlight: Infinite. While he now has a chance to generate 3 reserve bombs with Bomb Critical Strike, his popularity fails to outperform others, leading players to pick meta League Starters instead.
Here’s a quick look at the Torchlight: Infinite Class tier list:
| TIER | CLASSES |
| S-Tier | Sage, Rosa 2, Gemma 2, Carino 2, Youga 2, Rehan 2, Erika 1, Erika 2, Erika 3 |
| A-Tier | Iris 1, Iris 2, Thea 3, Gemma 3, Carino 3 |
