They say: From the Canadian brand Green Beaver, this lip butter features 100 per cent natural ingredients, including shea butter, to soften and soothe lips. The moisturizing formula features the scent of pure maple syrup.

We say: This is the ultimate lip balm for maple syrup lovers. A dollop smoothed onto lips produces a punch of pancake-tasting topping. But not in a bad way. Not a big fan of food-flavoured beauty products, our tester was surprised by how much she liked this maple-flavoured balm. It’s a sweet treat on lips, leaving them soft and hydrated too.

They say: Monday Haircare has gotten into the body wash game. The collection of pink-bottled products are infused with skin-caring ingredients such as hyaluronic acid, shea butter and coconut oil, to moisturize skin while gently cleansing. We say: This scent is as sexy as the campaign that supports it, which stars actors Dakota Johnson and Alexander Skarsgård. The fragrance is undeniably flower forward, but it’s balanced and enhanced by the addition of earthy sandalwood and the subtle hint of citrus. Very nice.
