He also noted that the time jump between seasons may shrink, saying, “Ten months was a long jump. I don’t think we need to make that long of a jump next time.”

That structured cycle could place season 3 somewhere in early 2027, assuming production stays on track. She also highlighted a crucial behind-the-scenes shift. Season 1 was fully written before filming began, while season 2 was written during production. For season 3, more writing time is being prioritized. “More time is always really, really nice,” she added.

The Pitt is walking a very fine line right now. It has momentum, critical acclaim, and a format that feels distinct. But that same structure can become a trap if not handled carefully.
