The Audacity premiered on AMC and AMC+ on April 12, 2026, with two episodes dropping at once. The Silicon Valley satire runs 8 episodes total, and Episode 4 is next. So far, the show has established Billy Magnussen‘s Duncan Park as a data-mining CEO willing to blackmail his own therapist, JoAnne Felder (Sarah Goldberg), into his white-collar schemes at Hypergnosis.
A fake acquisition rumor, a growing scandal, and JoAnne’s creeping paranoia have kept the pressure building. Here’s when Episode 4 releases and what to expect next.

Spoiler Alert !!!
Spoilers for The Audacity Episodes 1, 2, and 3 ahead.
Episode 3 ends with Duncan tracking Carl Bardolph to a milkshake shop mid-wildfire and landing him as a potential Hypergnosis investor. It’s a payoff built in Episode 2: JoAnne, cornered in her own kitchen by Duncan waving a metal detector, gives up Carl’s name as the one billionaire client he can target.
Duncan closes it with the Linus Po story: a musician he paid $4.5 million to perform in his backyard, who flipped him off on stage and never made music again. Duncan calls that a win. Carl, a sociopath himself, respects it.
JoAnne has mostly stayed one step ahead, reversing trades, dodging calls, driving over a sidewalk to escape him, but handing over Carl makes her complicit in whatever comes next.
Orson is carrying his own damage. He overheard that neither parent wanted custody, spent a full day forgotten in the school dining hall, and found out his mom doesn’t know his birthdate. He’s been researching legal independence from his parents.
Heading into Episode 4, Rotten Tomatoes describes the episode as Silicon Valley and its overlords veering into AI-fueled peak depravity, with Duncan and JoAnne each chasing fortune and something resembling happiness.
The wildfires are still burning, poisoning marriages, neuro-psych evaluations, and fifth homes. Duncan has Carl, a fresh story, and enough self-conviction to treat it all as proof he’s been right the whole time. That makes him more dangerous than ever, and Episode 4 is expected to push that even further.
