While the episode began with a comedic skit from Masayuki’s party on the 30th floor that boosted the reputation of the dungeon, it swiftly took an antagonistic, or rather serious, turn with the introduction of the adventurer’s group, Team Green Fury.

Green Fury had earned an impeccable reputation by clearing 20 floors within three days and was on the 30th floor soon after. However, as they reached the 40th floor, the main problem for Rimuru wasn’t them; it was Hinata. Hinata had defeated every boss from the 60th floors onwards up to the 90th floors, unable to defeat Veldora on the 100th floor.

After restoring the bosses and learning that Team Green Fury was exploiting a loophole to clear the dungeons easily, Rimuru came up with the plan to intercept them on the 49th floor with the help of his new invention – the pseudo souls and master cores. Rimuru, along with Ramiris, Veldora, and Milim, gears up in their new forms as the episode ends.
