What to Expect from Re:ZERO Season 4 Episode 4?

In the latest episode, we saw that Subaru, Ram, Anastasia, and Patrasche were all affected by the witch’s miasma, which made them all lose their minds. Subaru’s insanity took the form of rage, and he ended up being eaten by Patrasche.

In the next loop, Subaru tried to avoid the miasma by taking a different route; however, at the end of it, another threat awaited him. Thankfully, he didn’t have to return to death again, as he was saved by a mysterious girl. Considering how this girl is one of the only two new characters in the opening, we can assume that she is the sage Subaru and others have been looking for. Twist is, it appears that she is looking for Subaru as well!

In the next episode, we can expect a conversation between Subaru and Sage. But at the same time, we haven’t gotten Emilia’s POV yet, so the next episode could focus on what Emilia and others were doing while Subaru was fighting for his life.
