Petals of Reincarnation Episode 3 will first air on Japanese television networks, similar to most seasonal anime. So, if you’re in Japan, you can catch the episode on April 17, 2026, at 12:30 AM JST. However, the same episode will be available for streaming online for overseas fans after a one-hour delay. Fans in the US will get the episode on April 16, 2026, at 12:30 PM EDT.

Now, although HIDIVE is region-locked in many parts of the world, the anime is being released exclusively on HIDIVE.

HIDIVE has also listed all the regions where it will stream Petals of Reincarnation in its Spring 2026 lineup: the United States, Canada, Ireland, the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand.

Apart from HIDIVE, there are a couple of other region-exclusive streaming services where you can catch Episode 3, such as Aniverse (Germany and Austria), Bahamut Anime Crazy (Taiwan), and Bilibili Global (South Asia and Southeast Asia). Petals of Reincarnation Episode 2 Brief Recap

The Petals of Reincarnation anime has started to show its true colors from Episode 2. The introduction to the members of the Forest of the Greats couldn’t have been more perfect. The big names are already on the scene, as Isaac Newton, Albert Einstein, Florence Nightingale, John von Neumann, Hiroshi Funasaka, and others have gathered to welcome Touya to the team.

But things do heat up a little when Einstein points out that Touya is not worthy of becoming a Great. His talent might be overpowered, but it is too evil for the likes of them. This creates a tense situation in the episode. However, Haito manages to get Einstein to accept Touya by the end of it.

Fast forward to the scene when Touya returns to his apartment, as the confrontation between him, Haito, and Itsuki Kitazuka sets another hurdle in his quest for revenge. It turns out that Kitazuka is a friend of Touya’s elder brother, the one he wants to get back at. So it is fair to assume that he will turn out to be a thorn in Touya’s path, as he did not approve of Touya’s newfound talent.

What to Expect in Petals of Reincarnation Episode 3?

Since Petals of Reincarnation Episode 2 was filled with character revelations and lore drops, we now have many questions to deal with before heading into Episode 3. Of course, one of the major focuses will remain on Touya. Will he be able to keep his promise to Haito that he will become strong enough to fight her fairly? In the next episode, we might see more buildup toward this.

Next, the big question remains: which historical figure will appear next? Will it be one of the Greats or one of the Sinners? There is also a high possibility that the Austrian painter (yes, him) might finally be introduced in the anime. Given that Episode 2 has already adapted up to Chapters 7 and 8 of the manga, his cameo is closer than ever, as it appears in Chapter 13.

Finally, last but not least, we have yet to gain a proper understanding of the true goals of Itsuki Kitazuka, the friend of Touya’s elder brother. Is he one of the Sinners? From the tease in Episode 2, that might seem unlikely, but one thing is certain. He will be one of the many obstacles Touya has to overcome to reach his goal, and it will not be an easy path. So, he might reappear in Episode 3.
