Dwight has gone through a lot in the show and was even prisoned. And now if the second season of the show is to be believed, his former taxi driver Tyson Mitchell is also all set to follow in his steps.

Could Tyson End Up Like Dwight Manfredi in Tulsa King 2?

Played by actor Jay Will, Tyson was the most attention-grabbing individual the moment he ran into Sylvester Stallone‘s Dwight Manfredi at the airport. Throughout the first season, the viewers saw the character’s transformation from a driver to Dwight’s most loyal right-man, with his usual quirky personality.

But with the second season of the show, several questionable elements about Tyson have come to light. These elements may completely alter his story arc on the show. More so, he can even end up in jail like Dwight, who had completed a 25-year prison sentence before he stepped foot in Tulsa.

For example: In episode 4 of the second season, the show made a big move by pushing Tyson deeper into the world of crime. It was here that he witnessed a murder firsthand. And by episode 5, Dwight had made himself clear that he never wanted Tyson to get blood on his hands.

This statement suggests that a bigger plot might just be around the corner with Tyson possibly facing murder charges himself, perfectly mirroring Dwight’s past. But still, the question remains as to why the show is trying so hard to push Tyson into the world of organized crime. For the path that the show is taking at the moment, it suggests that a grim fate is awaiting Tyson, if he continues down this road.

Before its premiere, Will sat down with Screen Rant and talked in great detail about the show. As well as what it was like to share screen space with Hollywood legends like Stallone and Michael Beach. The host enquired that despite Stallone being the face of the project, Tyson has been able to establish his own unique identity and following. So, much so that the viewers do not want to see Tyson hurt, as the crime drama unfolds. To this he added:

It’s good to know that’s how I’m perceived, man. At least until Americas want me hurt, man, you know, the writers are going to hurt me! So shout out to the viewers for a little empathy!

The actor also talked about how Sylvester Stallone and Michael Beach created a supportive atmosphere on the set of the show. Further, Stallone establishes a serious atmosphere emphasizing hard work. While Beach fosters a nurturing, fatherly energy that inspires creativity and exploration.

Jay Will further appreciated how everyone learns from each other, showing how their relationships add depth to the series.
