Also, with the recent face reveal of Imu and his new ability, “Omen”, it looks like Eiichiro Oda has gone beyond increasing the stakes and creating a new definition of what “power” is in this world.

What makes these powers even more exciting to watch is not just the abilities they grant to the users, but also the context behind them. 8 Arrow-Arrow Fruit – Gunko

Gunko’s Arrow-Arrow Fruit (or Aro Aro no Mi in Japanese) may not look like a top-tier threat at first compared to the other entries in this list, but it quickly feels dangerous as the story progresses. The fruit appears to revolve around manipulation – whether it is space, motion, or directional force – but its real strength lies in unpredictability.

From a storytelling angle, Gunko is established as a “setup” character for future developments rather than a final boss. The fruit’s abilities have not yet reached their full potential, and therefore do not present the same level of threat that other fruits do on this list.

That said, we think that with enough reveal in the future, Gunko could easily be elevated in ranking. At this point, however, the Aro Aro no Mi looks more like a tactical ability than a destructive one.

7 Thorn-Thorn Fruit – Saint Sommers

The Thorn-Thorn Fruit (Iba Iba no Mi in Japanese) used by Saint Sommers is a classic example of a Devil Fruit that focuses on control rather than spectacle. This power appears to have abilities that seem to lean into thorn-like or pain-inducing mechanics. Hence, it can be quite useful for close-range combat/suppression situations.

The reason this fruit is even more interesting is how it represents the nature of the Celestial Dragons, which is cruel, oppressive, and more about domination than about skill. In a world where brute force often gets the spotlight, this type of ability (which immobilizes or punishes) has its own niche.

That being said, this ability does not feel revolutionary. While deadly, it is not a game-changer. Against high-tier Haki users and mythical Zoans, it feels like it would struggle to keep up.

6 Dragon-Dragon Fruit, Model: Kirin – Saint Killingham

We are now entering the world of heavy hitters with this fruit. The Dragon-Dragon Fruit, Model: Kirin (or Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Kirin) instantly stands out because of its mythological roots. In Japanese mythology, the Kirin is often associated with divine judgment and purity, which brings a unique flavor to it compared to the more aggressive dragon models we have seen before.

Also, what makes this fruit even more exciting is its potential balance between offense and symbolism. Rimoshifu Killingham’s Devil Fruit gives him the ability to turn into a half-qilin hybrid, enabling him to hypnotize others, putting them to sleep while manifesting their dreams into reality.

However, compared to what comes next, it still feels like a stepping stone. The abilities are powerful and great to look at; however, they are not fully capable of dominating the battlefield on their own.

5 Mythical Zoans (Yokai Forms) – The Five Elders

The Five Elders in the final saga do not look like just politicians anymore! Each of them wields Mythical Zoan-based fruits, which give them different Yokai forms. Thus, ranking them individually here in this list is kind of tricky, but together they represent one of the most terrifying forces in Eiichiro Oda’s series.

Their durability, regeneration, and overwhelming presence push them far beyond typical Zoan users. They are coming here on this list because we have yet to see the full potential of their power.

4 Mythical Zoan (Loki’s Hammer) – Ragnir

Not gonna lie, Ragnir’s Devil Fruit tied to Loki’s Hammer is one of the most wild idea introduced in the final saga of One Piece. What makes it unique is the mix of Norse mythology with weapon-based mythical Zoan ability.

This fruit feels like it bridges the gap between Paramecia creativity and Zoan transformation. This makes Ragnir’s Devil Fruit extremely flexible in terms of uses. If explored further, we feel that this could easily climb higher on this list.

3 Cerberus Devil Fruit (Awakened) – Shamrock Figarland

Shamrock Figarland‘s Cerberus is the complete opposite of how we typically view Devil Fruits, as it is a weapon possessed by an awakened Mythical Zoan Devil Fruit, making it a living 3-headed dog. Cerberus is a fully functioning combat entity that operates on its own while being wielded, providing the wielder with exclusive enhancements and being able to strike at targets in completely separate directions with its 3 heads, while simultaneously transforming and attacking with its monstrous blade form.

We feel this is one of the most creative uses of a Devil Fruit that Oda created during the Final Saga, as it takes the original concept of objects consuming Devil Fruits and pushes it to an extreme. Although Cerberus does not surpass Imu or Loki’s Devil Fruit abilities since all of its powers still depend upon its wielder, it still feels like an endgame-level threat.

2 Dragon-Dragon Fruit, Model: Niddhoggr – Prince Loki

Prince Loki’s Niddhogr Devil Fruit (Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Niddhogr) is where mythology meets raw dominance. This devil fruit was considered a national treasure in Elbaf and was protected for centuries by Ragnir. However, it was ultimately consumed by Loki. Unlike Kaido’s dragon form, this has a darker and more sinister feel to it.

Recently, in One Piece chapter 1174, we see that it grants the user the ability to transform into a massive, four-legged dragon. Now, think what happens when this devil fruit is used by Loki, who stands as one of the largest giants alive in the present day? From a power-scaling point of view, this fruit screams god-tier. It has the presence, the lore backing, and the narrative importance to go against the strongest characters of the series. If Imu did not exist, this would be number one in this list without a doubt.

1 Akuma no Mi – Nerona Imu

At the top, unsurprisingly, is Imu with the mysterious Akuma no Mi. And calling it just another Devil Fruit does not seem right. This power does not behave like anything that we have seen so far. And Imu’s control, dominance, and reality-bending abilities, such as “Omen,” feel like the origin point of all Devil Fruits rather than just another variation.

What truly makes Imu different is narrative weight. Simply put, this is Oda’s ultimate trump card in the final saga of One Piece. With the recent reveal of Imu’s face and his new abilities, it is not just about who can punch harder anymore – it is about who controls the very rules of the world. And now, Imu is rewriting them.
