A line in the sand was drawn but two Porsche drivers didn’t get the memo. Video shared on social media shows two vehicles getting stuck at Toronto’s Woodbine Beach. Toronto Police confirmed the Tuesday morning incident in a statement to the Toronto Sun, noting they “attended a call for two vehicles on the beach at 5:54 a.m.” While one of the luxury cars was able to escape the sand without any issues, a tow truck had to be called for the grounded second vehicle, cops detailed.

Toronto Police charge teen, young man in second U.S. Consulate shooting

Toronto Police have made a pair of arrests in connection with last month’s shooting at the U.S. Consulate in downtown Toronto. On Thursday, Chief Myron Demkiw announced a teenaged boy and a young man were taken into custody in connection with the July 27 shooting and face numerous criminal charges.

Multibillion-dollar Ontario Line deal inked for East York

The province has inked a multibillion-dollar deal with a pair of European contractors to build a portion of a new rapid transit line in Toronto. Barcelona-based civil engineering firm FCC group, along with Italy’s Webuild S.p.A., will build three kilometres of twinned underground tunnel under East York as part of the Ontario Line rapid transit project.
