One dead, suspect in 60s in custody in noon-hour North York shooting

Toronto Police say a man is dead and a suspect in his 60s is in custody following a shooting in North York around the noon hour Thursday. In a series of social media updates, police said officers responded to reports of a shooting shortly before 12:30 p.m. in the Marlee Ave. and Glengrove Ave. W. area, near Allen Rd. and Lawrence Ave. W. When cops arrived at the scene, a victim was found with a gunshot wound and unknown injuries, cops said. A suspect was arrested at the scene.
