Neverness to Everness Characters Tier List (April 2026)

Before its launch on April 29, Neverness to Everness (NTE) is surrounded by extreme hype, and for good reason. Besides its expansive open world and gameplay systems, the game’s characters take things to another level. However, if you want to build a competitive team that can deal serious damage (and push end-game content), you’ll need to focus on the strongest units.

That’s why we have created an NTE tier list that ranks characters based on combat performance (and future relevance), helping you choose the best units for progression.

Neverness to Everness Tier List (April 2026)

The NTE tier list below ranks all characters from S to B based on damage, value, and endgame power.

S	– Nanally – Sakiri – Baicang – Chiz (At A3 plus)
A	– Hathor – Daffodill – Jiuyuan – Zero (MC)
B	– Fadia – Haniel – Adler
C	– Mint – Skia – Edgar

NOTE: Characters within each tier are not ranked and are considered roughly equal in performance, with differences that may arise depending on your team composition and investment.

S-Tier (Top Damage Dealers and Support)

These are the current strongest units in NTE, offering the highest raw damage output and the strongest endgame potential.

Nanally

Nanally will not only be the first limited character in NTE (when it launches on April 29), but she is also one of the strongest DPS units in the game right now. She excels in both single-target and AoE damage. She delivers consistent output with minimal setup, making her one of the most reliable carries for all content types.

Sakiri

Sakiri is a powerful support who provides attack buffs and crowd control, significantly boosting overall team damage. While her personal DPS is lower, she greatly enhances the performance of strong carry units, making her a valuable enabler.

Chiz

Chiz is a strong early-game unit, which is also given for free along with all her dupes (these can be obtained from the City Tycoon system) and weapons. This makes her scale very well in the early game. Her damage is pretty solid but not exceptional, placing her below top-tier DPS characters. You can easily get her to max stars, but you will need to grind a little.

Baicang

Baicang is a self-sufficient DPS powerhouse with strong built-in buffs and consistent scaling. Unlike more conditional units, he performs reliably even without optimal teammates, making him one of the safest high-tier picks.

A-Tier (Strong & Flexible Units)

These characters are strong and highly usable, but either require conditions, investment, or specific team setups to reach top-tier performance.

Hathor

Hathor is the best AoE DPS in the game, excelling at clearing large groups of enemies with ease. While she feels a bit underpowered when it comes to boss fights, her farming efficiency and utility make her one of the most valuable long-term characters in the roster. She is especially strong in progression and account-building. And for the aesthetic players, she can also add blue flame to the vehicles.

Daffodill

Daffodill has the highest damage ceiling in Neverness to Everness (currently), especially in boss fights (with her correct team partner, like Baicang). She specializes in breaking enemy defenses and unleashing massive burst windows. However, she is heavily dependent on team synergy and proper setup to reach her full potential.

Jiuyuan

Jiuyuan is a hybrid DPS/support known for her consistency and reliability. She helps stabilize team rotations and provides dependable crowd control, making her a flexible pick in both mobbing and boss scenarios.

Main Character (Zero)

Zero is a jack-of-all-trades character with decent damage and some utility. If you haven’t decided on which character you like the most (to main), they will provide a reliable early game experience. And on top of that, they can fit into multiple team setups, but they lack the specialization needed to compete with higher-tier units later on.

B-Tier (Good but Outclassed)

These characters are usable and functional, but lack the raw power or scaling of higher-tier units.

Fadia

Fadia focuses on survivability and damage reflection. She essentially takes a portion of the damage taken by her teammates, allowing for aggressive playstyles. While she is useful in longer fights, her raw damage output is lower compared to dedicated DPS units.

Haniel

Haniel is an attack buffer who enhances team performance significantly. She scales well and is easy to upgrade, making her a great support option. However, like most buffers, her value depends heavily on having strong DPS teammates.

(She would have been A-Tier, but she has a difficult team synergy and needs to be placed in a certain position.)

Adler

Adler is an A-rank character. However, he is a good defensive support who provides shields and survivability. While this can be useful in certain situations, his low damage output (along with better defensive options) makes him less valuable in a meta focused on fast clears and high DPS.

C-Tier (Situational Picks)

These units are more than usable in normal content but not optimal for competitive or endgame-focused teams.

Mint

Mint is a basic DPS option with straightforward gameplay. Despite her being an A-rank character, her damage is decent but lacks the scaling and impact of higher-tier characters. However, you can easily get her to max dupes, and then she becomes a fairly viable pick if you enjoy her playstyle. Overall, she is good but not ideal for competitive progression.

Skia

Skia has a self-focused kit with average damage, offering little in terms of team synergy. While playable, he doesn’t bring enough value compared to other options.

Edgar

Edgar is a pure support/healer-type character, and currently, the game doesn’t demand heavy healing. Because of this, his usefulness is limited, placing him at the bottom of the tier list.

As the game evolves with future updates and new characters, this tier list will shift. So, keep in mind that the “best” picks today may not stay on top forever.
