Marvel Rivals Blood Hunt Hidden Boss: How to Unlock and Defeat Kingpin

The new Blood Hunt PvE mode in Marvel Rivals already has Dracula as its headline villain, but if you think the Victory screen after beating him is the finish line, you’re leaving the actual ending on the table.

There are three Hidden Objectives across different phases of the mode, each dropping a golden key on completion. Finish all three, and defeating Dracula won’t end your run. Instead, you’ll get teleported back to Times Square for a face-off with the real final boss. Here’s how to get there.

How to Unlock Kingpin as the Final Boss in Marvel Rivals Blood Hunt

Before diving in, it’s worth noting that Blood Hunt’s achievements include a challenge specifically for defeating the hidden boss on Extreme difficulty. We’d recommend clearing the mode on the lower two difficulties first and getting your character to a point where Extreme feels manageable before going for that one. With that said, here are the three Hidden Objectives to complete:

Hidden Challenge #1 — Phase 4

Destroy the barrier at the end of the bridge within the time limit and reach the target point.

You have 90 seconds on the clock for this first objective, but the good news is you don’t have to fight through every enemy on the bridge to clear it. Head straight for the dome-shaped barrier at the far end and focus it down. Once it’s destroyed and you reach the target point, the first golden key is yours. It’ll show up on the top left of your screen, right next to your selected difficulty.

Hidden Challenge #2 — Phase 7

Find and destroy the Bloodclot Buds.

No timer on this one, which is a relief. But, the number of Bloodclot Buds you need to destroy in this area scales with your squad size: one for solo, two for a duo, and so on up to four in a full team. Look for glowing, blood-red flower-like growths in the area. They’re not exactly subtle once you know what you’re looking for.

Hidden Challenge #3 — Phase 12

Break the sealing magic circle within the time limit.

The final piece of the puzzle is also the one with the most pressure. You have 120 seconds to destroy the blood crystals that keep spawning one after the other around the area to break the sealing magic circle. Prioritize them over everything else in the phase, and you’ll have more than enough time to finish it comfortably.

Tips for Fighting Kingpin in Marvel Rivals Blood Hunt

Wilson Fisk has been the voice guiding you through every phase of the mode, so it’s a fitting twist that he turns out to be the one you actually needed to worry about all along. Once you’ve completed the challenges above and defeated Dracula in the 13th phase, you’ll get teleported back to Times Square, where The Kingpin will be waiting to greet you.

He might feel slightly less overwhelming than Dracula at first, but he has two attacks that will take you down if you’re not paying attention. The first starts with his cane: he’ll lock you in a trance, and if you don’t hammer your movement inputs (WASD/move left analog stick) fast enough to break out, the follow-up beam attack will one-shot you.

The second is one to watch for: he leaps into the air before coming down and throwing up a shield bubble around himself, which he then charges up with a massive AoE explosion. If you don’t take cover behind something solid in the area, the resulting blast will one-shot you.

Outside of those two, watch for his charge attack and keep your distance. As long as you’re not standing still and you’re consistent with your damage, you’ll be able to chip away at his health bar pretty quickly and consistently.
