Vehicles play a major role in the world of Neverness to Everness (NTE), letting players move quickly across the sprawling city of Hethereau instead of traveling on foot. Beyond simple transportation, vehicles also add a social element; you can even bring your favorite character to ride alongside you.
However, with multiple vehicle types, dealerships, and unlock requirements, it can get confusing fast, especially with the currency requirement in the beginning. This guide breaks down every vehicle in the game and explains exactly how to get them.

How to Unlock and Buy Vehicles in NTE
Walk less, drive more… that’s the NTE way. | Credits: Hotta StudioUnlocking vehicles in Neverness to Everness (NTE) is tied to your progression in the City Tycoon system. The first step in the process of obtaining a vehicle is completing the Photo Studio Episode in the main story, which rewards you with your first vehicle, the Rover A1.
After that, you’ll need to unlock City Tycoon and reach Level 2 to access the Garage and start purchasing vehicles. Leveling your tycoon level depends on how much fons you have earned and completing a few tasks (total fons, meaning you can spend fons).
Most vehicles are bought using Fons, the game’s main currency. You can earn Fons by completing daily commissions, participating in Hethereau hobbies (which spend world stamina), and exploring the open world. Since higher-end vehicles can cost millions of Fons, consistent farming, codes, and progression are essential if you want to afford the best options.
Once purchased, vehicles can be summoned using the Key Fob, switched through your inventory, and customized at modification shops.
NOTE: Even if you unlock the car skin for free, you will need to go to the modification shop and spend some Fons to equip it.
As you progress further in NTE, additional features unlock, such as changing license plates at higher City Tycoon levels and inviting companions (Espers) to ride with you after increasing their Bond level.
