Bruno Mars is about to make some 24K magic happen at Vancouver’s B.C. Place with The Romantic Tour when he kicks off his record-breaking run of five shows, starting tonight.

The doors at B.C. Place have opened and there is some life on Mars. But hardly anything that suggests opening night of a record-breaking sell out concert run. More people crowd around before a Lions game.

The merch tent lineup is equally staid as quiet fans politely queue up to part with their money. And a passerby just asked me if there is some kind of Bruno Mars event going on.
