Liam Payne Girlfriends: Was He With Kate Cassidy in Hotel Before Falling From the Balcony to His Death?

Former One Direction member and one of the best and most beloved vocal artists of all time, Liam Payne was recently reported to have fallen to death from his hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Tragically enough, the young singer’s devastating demise at 31 has left the world reeling, but the serious questions currently raging are about the factors surrounding his death.

While many still can’t believe that their favorite Payno is actually gone, others are speculating if his death was an accident or if he intentionally committed suicide amidst the latest turn of events of his life. That said, here’s a quick briefing about who the late heartthrob was with before his unexpected demise and what circumstances he was battling in his personal life before the same.

Was Liam Payne With Kate Cassidy Before His Death?

Around 2 weeks ago, Payne shared through his Snapchat stories that he and his girlfriend Kate Cassidy were going to attend his former bandmate Niall Horan‘s concert in Argentina. However, back then, little did he or the world know that his going to Argentina would result in a tragic turn of events, as the singer would fall to his death from his Buenos Aires hotel room balcony.

Before that, however, both Liam Payne and Cassidy seemingly had a really good time together in South America. This was evident, especially from the Familiar singer’s Snapchat as well as from the innumerable posts of the two having a good time shared on Cassidy’s TikTok handle @kateecass. But this fun trip seemingly ended when the social media influencer decided to leave.

As she shared in her clip posted to TikTok, Cassidy traveled back to Florida a few days before Payne’s demise. Apparently, she was “so ready to leave” because, even though she “loved South America”, she “hate[s] staying in one place for too long.” Cassidy revealed, “We were supposed to be there for, like, 5 days, and it turned into 2 weeks, and I was just like, ‘I need to go home.'”

Moreover, this solo-traveling vlog clip was captioned: “soooo happpiii to b back in sunshine state.” That said, it seems like when Payne fell from his balcony, he was alone and was not with Cassidy. At the same time, the Strip It Down singer’s Snapchat stories, which were shared sometime around reports of his death, may have fans arguing that he was actually not alone (see X).

But the truth is that those pictures and clips were seemingly shared by Payne’s management as celebrities’ handles are usually managed by their agents. What further backs this up is Cassidy’s TikTok handle which revealed similar photos and clips that were shared on Payne’s story, presumably as they were all taken on the same day. And Cassidy shared them all around four days ago.

Additionally, as per The Associated Press, the manager of the Buenos Aires hotel where the Midnight singer was staying had dialed an emergency call to the police just after 5 p.m. local time, reportedly saying that they had “a guest who is overwhelmed with drugs and alcohol … He’s destroying the entire room and, well, we need you to send someone, please.”

Going further into the call, his voice seemingly grew anxious as he mentioned that the room where this “aggressive man who could be under the influence of drugs or alcohol” was staying had a balcony. A later statement from the communications director for the Buenos Aires Security Ministry claimed that Payne “had jumped from the balcony of his room.”

All of this being said, it’s evident that, at the time of his death, Liam Payne was seemingly alone and Kate Cassidy was not with him.

Liam Payne Faced Some Serious Allegations by His Ex-Fiancée Maya Henry

In the period leading up to his devastating death, Payne was buried under allegations by his ex-fiancée and influencer cum model Maya Henry. In a minutes-long rant that she posted to her TikTok handle @mayahenry on October 6, she made some serious allegations about her ex – without naming him, but associating him with “One Direction fans” at the same time.

Apparently, she claimed that her ex continues to “blow up” her phone with emails, texts, and messages even though it has been quite a while since their breakup.

“It’s always from different phone numbers too. I never know where it’s going to come from . . . Also [he] will email me,” she claimed. “Not only me, but he’ll blow up my mom’s phone. Is that normal behavior to you?”

Adding to this, Henry continued to claim, “Also messaging my friends. I found out later so they could go over to his house apparently.” The 23-year-old further alleged that Payne “weaponized” his 1D fanbase against her. “He says that he ‘preys on One Direction fans because they will always be loyal to him and they won’t tell on him.'”

As severe as all of these claims are, further reports from Daily Mail revealed that she even issued a cease-and-desist order last week to the Polaroid singer. Following reports of Payne’s death from his falling multiple stories down the CasaSur Palermo Hotel, a source aware of his situation with Henry claimed to People that Payne “was extremely overwhelmed by all of [these] legal issues.”

With all of this being put out there, it’s inevitable that the former One Direction bandmate must have been under some serious mental strain at the time of his death. Nonetheless, the exact circumstances of what led to his demise, and whether it was an accident or Payne jumped to his death by his own accord, is yet to be officially known and confirmed.
