GIVE THE JOB TO BOMBARDIER
As President Donald Trump threatens to ban Bombardier from U.S. sales, coincidentally with the retirement of the Snowbirds aircraft, perhaps Prime Minister Mark Carney, rather than using multi-millions of Canadian taxpayer dollars to pad his welcome back to his chosen home in Switzerland when he is finished here by purchasing outdated propeller-powered copies of a Second World War fighter plane to supposedly replace the current jet-powered Snowbird fleet, could consider boosting Canadian manufacturing and jobs. This could be done by cancelling any further negotiations with the Swiss firm, spending those millions in Canada and contracting with Bombardier to build a genuine, modern air force two-seat, jet-powered trainer, which will give the Snowbirds a real aircraft to fly (should we ever see them again) and provide practical training use for CAF as well.

NEW WORLD ORDER?
Canada’s Vietnam seems to be very much Ukraine. How we got ourselves into being a cash cow for a war is really irrelevant since nobody wants an iron curtain on anybody. The federal Liberal Party is very much like the movie with Steve Martin as the jerk when people come calling for money and the leather seats of their airplane are ripped. Any money sent by Canada should be to end conflicts. Right now, Canada – the mouse that tried to roar – is lacking in cash. Is this the New World Order?

LIBS OUTRAGE
I see the liberal outrage after U.S. President Donald Trump promised a $5,000 reward for every adult who votes for him in the midterm elections. I recall former Ontario Liberal Party leader Dalton McGuinty promised to give every worker another paid statutory holiday in February if they voted for him and he was elected. They did, he was – and that’s where Family Day in February came from.
