The game features a traversal ability called Axiom Force that, when fully upgraded, lets you grapple, zip, and swing through the environment like the web-slinger himself.

The build goes beyond just movement. With the right outfit pieces, including specific armor and dyes, you can also look the part, and in this guide, we’ll cover everything you need to know about how to become Spider-Man in Crimson Desert.

Pre-Requisites for Making the Spider-Man Build in Crimson Desert

Before you can start swinging through the world of Pywel, there are a few things you need to take care of first.

Progress the Main Story to the Traces Questline

Axiom Force, the core ability that enables the Spider-Man-like movement in the game, is not something that you can unlock from the very start. You’ll need to progress through the main campaign until you reach the Traces Questline, and more specifically, the Polar Opposites sub-quest line, during which you unlock the Axiom Force.

Upgrade Axiom Force

To actually swing like Spider-Man in Crimson Desert, you’ll need to upgrade this ability to Level 3, which would require Abyss Artifacts. These are special upgrade materials found throughout the game.

Level Up Your Stamina

Axiom Force’s grapple and swing mechanics each cost a significant amount of Stamina, which drains fast if you’re not prepared. Make sure to invest in your Stamina stat early on, ideally reaching Stamina Level 4.
