How to Get Explosive Arrows in Crimson Desert?

Explosive arrows are incredibly powerful tools in Crimson Desert. With the game’s difficulty curve being rather steep, these are extremely helpful in clearing out groups of enemies or staggering large bosses.

However, these explosive arrows are rather rare and hard to come by. Especially for the beginners out there who don’t have the ‘Infinite Arrows’ Abyss Gear. Fret not, we’re here to save the day!

In this guide, we will reveal all the Back Alley locations where you can purchase explosive arrows in Crimson Desert. Additionally, you will also learn how to farm the arrows.

Back Alley Shop Locations for Explosive Arrows in Crimson Desert

The primary method of acquiring explosive arrows is to purchase them from specialized Back Alley Shop vendors scattered across the map. These merchants are hidden away from main thoroughfares.

A few things to remember: one arrow costs 6 Silver, most shops carry 2 arrows, though some carry 3, and the stock replenishes every 7 in-game days (approximately), so plan your visits accordingly.

• Calphade: Located just northwest of Hernand, this vendor is found hiding behind a building on the outskirts of the map. You can easily spot their icon on your minimap when you enter the general vicinity.

• Demeniss (Bunny Farm): Located near the “E” in the Demeniss map label. Just slightly below and to the right of the Wildlife Park (bunny farm). You can drop in from the sky to find him tucked in a back alley.

• Tomasso (South of Tashkalp): Located just south of the Tashkalp area, outside the bottom-left of the city. Partially hidden behind a building near the city outskirts

• Thalwynd Vendor: This vendor also isn’t too difficult to locate. You’ll find him in an alley behind the Bank building.

• Demeniss Castle Wall: Located just east of the main castle wall in Demeniss. You may need to circle around the outskirts to find the narrow side path leading to this vendor’s shop.

• Slywek: Found on the Wells estate between Bloodsteel South Gate and Bloodsteel Camp in Thornbriar Mountains. This is the only vendor so far who carries 3 explosive arrows instead of the usual 2.

Additionally, you can go to Verina (Sungate Cave) to find a chest behind the waterfall to steal 3 explosive arrows. It’s located at the northernmost tip of the map in the Varnoa Gorge region. Remember, this is a one-time loot and does not restock.

Dispatch Missions for Explosive Arrows

We know it’s hard to spend your hard-earned currency buying explosive arrows two at a time. That’s why you should automate the process using the Greymane Camp‘s Dispatch Mission system. This is the most reliable way to farm explosive arrows in the background.

To get explosive arrows, you need to unlock and utilize the Demeniss Armory dispatch mission. This will reward you with 3 explosive arrows every 12 in-game hours. Till you acquire the Infinite Arrows Abyss Gear, this is the best way to keep your explosive arrows stocked.
