How to Complete Line in the Sand in ARC Raiders? Quest Guide

Part 1: Finding the Abandoned Train and the Clues

1. Drop into the Buried City map and head toward the central train line area

The map can feel humongous, but you must stick to navigating towards the train line.

2. Locate the derailed blue train cars sticking out of the sand

You might have to look a bit, but these train cars are easy to spot.

3. Walk near the train cars

That’s it! Just by walking on or near the blue train cars, the first part of your objective is completed.

4. Move slightly to the east of the abandoned train to find a small tower structure

Navigate east from the train, and you will encounter the small tower.

5. Climb the tower to reach the floor terminal

Just hop one ledge of the tower, and you’re there!

6. Press the interact button and reveal the Marano Market Business Card

As soon as you interact with “Search for clues”, you will get the card, and another part of the quest is finished.

Part 2: Locating the Thruster Valves and the Stash

1. Open your map and head north to the Market Ruins POI

There is no location named “Marano Market” in the game, but the quest resumes in the ruined market.

2. Enter the large ruined market building

That’s it, entering the building will automatically trigger the next quest progression.

3. Travel straight to the far northern edge of the map

You will head north into the Dune’s End area for the next part of the quest.

4. Enter the nearby building

You need to enter the merchant’s apartment building on the northern edge of Market Ruins.

5. Approach the zipline and ride down into the basement

Jump towards the empty elevator area to zipline down to the basement.

6. Find the pile of cardboard boxes

These shouldn’t be too hard to find once you enter the basement.

7. Interact with the cardboard boxes

This is the final step of the quest; simply interacting with the boxes completes it.

8. Extract immediately after completion

This is important. After completing the quest, you need to extract! Some players have reported a bug where the quest resets if you die or exit improperly.
