They have an adopted child named Anya Forger who has mind-reading abilities and a dog named Bond who can see the future.

Loid used his fake profession as a psychiatrist and somehow managed to get Melinda as a patient with unintentional help from Yor. During their first session, Loid gets into a conversation with Melinda trying to gain her trust and extract some information about her husband Desmond. However, their conversation takes a weird turn when Melinda mentions UFOs.

Melinda asks Loid whether he believes in UFOs and extraterrestrial life forms, which completely confuses Loid. As he tries to understand the situation, Melinda makes the revelation that her husband is actually an alien. This disclosure startles Loid to the point that he asks Melinda to repeat it again. This is probably the biggest twist in the Spy x Family narrative.
