The BMW M2 Forza Edition is one of the more “completionist rewards” you can get in Forza Horizon 6. You won’t find it in the Autoshow, it is especially difficult to snipe in the Auction House, and unlike some of the game’s rarer Wheelspin cars, luck won’t help you here either.

The good news is that every step toward unlocking it naturally overlaps with your broader Collection Journal and Wristband progression. And once it finally joins your garage, you’re getting a car that feels equally comfortable attacking a road racing circuit as it does sliding through a drift zone.
Here’s how to unlock the M2 FE and the tune codes we’ve had the most success with.

The BMW M2 Forza Edition is unlocked through the Horizon Legend page of the Collection Journal. To get it, you’ll need to reach Horizon Legend Tier 5 by earning 5,000 Horizon Festival Points within that page.
Unlike cars such as the Exige WTAC, Huracán Sterrato, or LFA FE, there isn’t a single category you can focus on from start to finish. Instead, the Horizon Legend page tracks your progress across the wider Horizon Festival section of the Collection Journal.
Every Horizon Festival page you complete awards 500 Horizon Festival Points toward the Horizon Legend page. So, all in all, you’ll need to fully complete 10 different pages to reach the 5,000-point requirement and unlock the BMW M2 FE.
That’s where a little planning can save a lot of time. Rather than progressing through pages at random, it’s worth prioritizing some of the quicker completions first. The Skills page, for example, only requires you to perform every skill in the game at least once, making it one of the easier 500-point rewards to knock out early.
Best Forza Horizon 6 Tune Codes for the BMW M2 Forza Edition
Fast in a straight line, fun in a slide. | Credits: Playground Games/FandomWireFirst, here’s a look at the BMW M2 FE’s base stats before any upgrades or tuning:
| Speed | 6.9 |
| Handling | 6.2 |
| Acceleration | 5.4 |
| Launch | 5.7 |
| Braking | 5.8 |
| Offroad | 4.6 |
Now, with the right setup, this BMW’s biggest strengths are its acceleration and grip. While it doesn’t quite reach the cornering levels of the Lotus Exige WTAC (check out our other guide if that’s what you’re after), it feels much more planted than its stock handling and braking ratings might tell you.
As of writing, that versatility is also reflected in the community’s tuning scene. Road racing setups remain popular, but there are just as many players using the car for drifting. And if you’re looking for a place to start, these are the tune codes we’ve found most useful so far:
| R Class Road Racing | 328 668 450 |
| A Class Road Racing | 770 677 768 |
| R Class Drifting | 811 228 725 |
| S1 Class Drifting | 143 014 894 |
