5 Anime Characters Who Can Survive Gojo’s Unlimited Void From Jujutsu Kaisen

When it comes to the Jujutsu Kaisen anime and manga series, Satoru Gojo is considered the “strongest” character of the series – and for good reasons. Almost all of his attacks are absolutely broken, especially his Domain Expansion technique – the Unlimited Void. Apart from the JJK mechanics, the Unlimited Void allows Gojo to inundate his opponents with an endless stream of information, almost gibberish, to overwhelm their physical and mental capabilities to counter.

It takes an absolute brainiac and other broken anime characters to survive and break through the Domain Expansion, minus the other mechanics specific to Jujutsu Kaisen. Without further ado, here are some characters from other series who can actually break through Gojo’s most broken attack.

1 Meruem Can Easily Adapt to Whatever Information Gojo Dumps

The Hunter X Hunter antagonist, Meruem, is one of the most broken characters in shonen anime because of his constant evolution trait. As the ultimate Chimera Ant, Meruem possessed an intellect that evolved at an absurd rate – during battles, Meruem could process countless possibilities simultaneously and adapt almost instantly to new information.

While Unlimited Void still affects him and restricts him to some degree, the antagonist can use his superhuman cognition to buy enough time to hold the pressure. Based on what we’ve seen from him so far, he can definitely hold out till the Domain runs out and recover to fight again.

2 Rimuru’s Analytical Abilities Are the Perfect Counter to Gojo

If we’re talking about broken anime characters, Isekai has a few, including the protagonist of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, Rimuru Tempest. Rimuru’s greatest advantage is not his own mind but the analytical supercomputer-like abilities housed within him – the Great Sage, which later evolves into Raphael and Ciel.

Rimuru has an intricate mental structure that analyses almost anything. No matter how much information Gojo tries to insert into his mind, Rimuru can easily take it all in until “unlimited” stops being endless.

3 Aizen Has a Mind That Never Stops Evolving in the Bleach Series

While some argue that one of the strongest Bleach characters, Yhwach, has a better chance of surviving the Unlimited Void with his powers, it is undeniable that Aizen was one of the smartest in the series. Even after being imprisoned in the Muken, his spiritual pressure continued to grow, and his awareness remained sharp enough to influence events from confinement – thanks to the fusion with the Hogyoku.

While Unlimited Void functions effectively by overwhelming the target’s consciousness with limitless information, Aizen has repeatedly displayed absurd mental resilience. If he doesn’t survive Gojo’s Domain Expansion, there is no hope for any other Bleach characters to make the cut.

4 Kusuo Saiki’s Brain Is Already Equipped to Process Enormous Data

This is an absolute no-brainer: Kusuo Saiki from The Disastrous Life of Saiki K is probably one of the best-suited candidates to survive the overwhelming stress of information input from Gojo’s Unlimited Void. Saiki already lives with constant psychic input from the minds around him – spending every day filtering overwhelming streams of information while suppressing his planetary-level powers.

Compared to other ordinary humans, or even some of the most elite sorcerers from the Jujutsu Kaisen series, his brain is built to last. The effects of the Domain Expansion would be far less potent on him compared to others.

5 Madoka Can Easily Handle Gojo’s Absurd Information Dumping

By the end of the genre-trope-breaking Puella Magi Madoka Magica anime series, Madoka Kaname transcends her physical existence and becomes the Law of Cycles – becoming a conceptual being that exists across all timelines simultaneously. She already operates far beyond the normal human mind at that point, perceiving the past, present, and future at once.

While the other characters might survive against the Unlimited Void, it won’t even touch Madoka. The Domain Expansion technique’s greatest weapon is forcing infinite knowledge into a target’s consciousness – but her consciousness already extends throughout reality itself.
